September 19

2 A.M. Dead. As usual. Nobody had come in for over two hours. Bobby was sick so some random guy was filling in and I was bored as hell. I suddenly remembered the guys from a few nights ago. I should listen to their song. I went and plugged my phone into the aux before looking up 'Evanie song.'

Sure enough a video showed up with a picture of the Irish man holding an iPhone. I pressed on the video titled 'BROCKHAMPTON - EVANIE FILM VERSION.' Film version? Interesting. The song started through the aux and I felt my heart flutter. The tone was undoubtedly toned down, but still it sounded amazing.

The guitar in the background added another level of the butterflies I felt for a song that wasn't even written about me. I turned up the song a little before hearing the bell ring. I turned towards the door and I felt my face heat up as none other than the Irish man himself entered with a girl following right behind him.

The girl looked up before laughing and the Irish man looked down smiling. I felt my heart drop to my stomach as the girl shoved his shoulder into a booth and sat across from him. I quickly changed the song to some unreleased Lana. I scooped up the menus before hurrying over and placing them in front of them.

"Hello, how are you both this morning?" The Irish man just looked up at me and smiled.

"I'm doing great, Evanie!" The girl said looking up at me and smiling. Her greeting caught me off guard. I furrowed my eyebrows at her. "Ciarán told me your name, don't worry I'm not some stalker!" I gave a shaky laugh.

"So what do you guys want to drink?"

"I'll have a sprite." Ciarán said before the girl asked for the same.

"I'll be right back." I smiled before heading off to the fridge to get the two bottles before returning at the same speed and placing them in their respective places.

"Were you listening to his song?" The girl asked smiling. My face started to burn as I watched her open the bottle and take a sip waiting for my answer.

"Um, I-" I paused taking a breath. "I'll be back." I said before rushing off to the bathroom. I swung open the door before looking into the mirror. My hands flew to the sink as the cold water started to flow. I splashed the liquid onto my face before patting it dry. That's a little better. I walked back out and paused to eavesdrop. Creepy, I know.

"She's really pretty. If I didn't have a girlfriend I might've just stolen her from you."

"Yeah, I know. But shut up, Deb. You don't know when she's coming back." I waited a moment before breaking the space and approaching the table again.

"Sorry, about that guys! What can I get you guys to eat?"

"Don't apologize." Ciarán said before starring down Deb. "I'll have the pancakes and she will have the same." He said handing me the menus. I saw deb pouting a little bit.

"I can order for myself you know!"

"Yeah, I know." He mumbled to her before smiling at me. I smiled back before going into the kitchen to give the chef the order. The pancakes would be ready in a few minutes so I decided to stay in the kitchen and wait. About 7 minutes later both of their meals were ready and I headed out with their food. I placed it down and Deb started to talk to me again.

"Did you like the song?" I nodded.

"It's very good." I turned towards Ciarán. "You have a very nice voice."
