First Day of Demon School

Start from the beginning

"W-Where am I?!  Who are you?!" He bombarded with questions as he was confused and scared. Hayami looked at her side where both their violet lustrous eyes met blue innocent eyes. His eyes widened in disbelief and emotions ran through him, taking his fear out a little seeing his childhood best friend. "Y-Yami-chan?"

"Ah, Iruma-kun!" She greeted with a closed eye smile, talking ever so casually. "He chose you, huh? Who knew faith can be twisted against our odds?"

"What do you mean?"

Lord Sullivan began to speak in demon language. It was clear to her that he didn't understand what he had said, so she translated it for him. "Iruma-kun, this is the Netherworld."

"N-Netherworld?"

"Right. So, this is how it looks?" She looked at the dark blue sky with stars all around. The demon trees that were native to Netherworld looked ever so unique despite how far they are, and the shadows over them. There were also two moons, and one appeared to be smaller than the other, pink and whitish blue. Her heart began to beat out of her chest as she stared at the moons.

'Why do I feel so funny? My senses feeling so much more heightened than usual. It almost feels too unbearable.'

Her eyes shifted slightly before a snap was heard then she snapped out of it. "This is where demons live."

"D-Demons— I can understand you!" He was surprised to know what he was saying so simply.

"That's because I've cast magic on you."

"M-magic?" He repeated.

"I am a demon, so it's only natural I can use magic." He spoke in his monotone voice. The winged demon continued to fly to reach his destination as he spoke to the two teens.

"Demon?!"

"Yes, demon."

She sweatdropped at this. She couldn't understand how Iruma would just keep repeating words when the person said it already. He does it so constantly, or maybe because this was a completely new environment to try and get used to. She couldn't blame him, but she didn't like that this was so constant, but she did not show it at all. She only still has a smile on her face.

"This is the first time for me to meet a demon, much less go to the netherworld in person. This should be worth it, right" She glanced at Iruma who had shaken his head in desperation and anxiousness. 'What if he turns against us? I will have no problem protecting him and cripple this one. Then again, mom won't do this if he wasn't to be trusted? Who am I kidding! He could have put up a facade and mom fell for it easily!'

"My name is Sullivan. Oh, Iruma, your parents have sold your soul to me." He chuckled in amusement.

"Oh no, how could they—" She froze with a smile, more turning deadpanned. 'Actually, that sounds like something they would do.'

"Sold my soul to demon?! How can it be—" he stopped his sentence then flinched, looking down. He must have realized they would stoop this low to trade their son for money just like that.

"Is that what I think it is?" Hayami made him looked at the home they were going to.

"My mansion." Sullivan answered.

"What are you planning to do to me??" He screamed.

All of a sudden, both were sitting in a throne like chair with bibs around their necks. Sullivan knelt down on one knee, his hands held onto Iruma's. "Huh?" He asked, ever so confused. Hayami was in the position for no words either.
