Moon's POV
I was running away from a hybrid gang. A large one to be exact. I ran into a dead end, I looked up and saw an opening. Since I was a cat I could climb quite well.

I jumped onto the wall, gripping the bricks as I made my way up. I hopped onto the roof of a building and began running.

Once I had lost them I found a safe place to jump down.

When I turned around I saw, a human. A very bored looking human. It was as if they always wanted to sleep.

They looked at me, no expression evident in their eyes or face. "What ar-" I cut the human off by kicking their face and slamming their head down on the ground with my foot.

Somehow they still seemed to be alive.

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR HUH?!" The human shouted. I took a step back and they scrambled to their feet.

"Look please don't hurt me, it was just by instinct." I said, they looked at me then scoffed.

"By instinct huh? Well seeing as your a stray hybrid, and you attacked me I think I should report you to the council?" My eyes widened at the woman's statement.

I shook my head vigorously telling them to not report me.

They chuckled and held out their hand. "To be fair, you do seem like a good companion. Maybe I'll keep you?" Just like last time my eyes widened.

I didn't want an owner, the last time I had one something terrible happened. I shook my head slightly to get rid of the thought.

"I'm Aera, and I guess I'm going to be your new master."

I reluctantly took Aera's hand, not wanting to go with her but I gave up. She led me to a big house, my mouth opened at the sight. My previous master never had a house like this. I was shocked to how a girl like this could own such a thing.

We walked through the front door and the interior was just as perfect as the exterior. It was like I was in a palace. Except it was just a bit smaller.

Aera let go of my hand and disappeared up the stairs. I stayed where I was, mesmerised by the designs and paintings on the wall. Aera came back with a costume.

She came up to me and said, "Wear this, call me if you need any help. Just go upstairs and turn right, go into the room that has a paw on it." I nodded slowly and made my way up the stairs.

I walked into the room, and saw loads of plushies and cute toys. Their was a desk and some sort of weird device sitting there, there was also a bed that had a cat design on it, wearing the same costume I was wearing.

I closed the door and took off the ragged clothes I was wearing. I slipped on the costume, making sure my tail went through the hole.

I left the room and went down the stairs, Aera was nowhere to be found. I checked in the room to the right of me and saw her drinking something.

Once she noticed I was here she immediately put her drink down. "You look so adorable!" I mumbled a small thanks.

"What is this costume?" I asked. She chuckled and told me that it was a 'maid outfit' to be honest I had no idea what that meant, but I really couldn't be bothered to ask.

Aera looked at me, stars in her eyes. "Hey, can you put your hands in a fist and then hold them up to your face?" I did what she asked. "Ok, now can you say meow." My turned into a confused one as I 'meowed' for her.

She squealed and walked up to me. She looked me up and down (not in a romantic way) and rushed out of the room. I turned around and saw her out of sight.

After a while she came back with black and white striped socks and black shoes. "Here put these on." She said, I took them from her hands and slipped the socks on, I then put on the shoes and fastened them.

Surprisingly they fit quite well. She clapped her hands in satisfaction and took a rectangular device out of her pocket.

"You know the pose I asked you to do before in the kitchen?" I nodded, finally knowing what that room is. "Well, can you do that and bring your feet in and squat slightly, like ever so slightly."

I nodded and did the pose, the pose was quite uncomfortable for me but I decided to endure it.

After a few weird noises came out of the device she stopped and stretched. I stood up normally and looked at the device in her hands.

She caught me staring and told me that it was called a phone, she even told me that she could get me one. She scratched my ears and I purred, it was very relaxing.

She took her hand away from my head, "You should go shower, I'll help you seeing as you don't know anything."

I had finished taking a shower, and had put on the clothes laid out for me on the bed. I then fell into a deep sleep.

I woke up to the sound of pots and pans being bashed together. I jolted out of bed and saw Aera looking at me with a smug expression on her face.

Today is going to be a long one...
