Ch. 37 "Rebekah"

we entered what looked like a warehouse full of coffins as Stefan continued to bomb questions about who knows what, I was concentrating on my pain, 

"Rebekah's temper is worse than mine," Klaus said 

I made my way next to the almighty hybrid, I stare at the blonde in the coffin with a dagger in her chest even when she's pale and has veins all over her body she still looks beautiful, 

"Is she..." I asked 

"Dead? it's complicated little wolf," Klaus said smiling down at me 

"She's very beautiful," I said 

Klaus grabbed the dagger embedded in Rebekah's chest and yanked it out, Stefan and I glanced at one another curiosity in our eyes at what is happening , 

"Time to wake up, little sister," Klaus said with a smirk

"Any day now, Rebekah. she's being dramatic," Klaus said looking at us 

"Look why don't you just tell me what the hell is going on? I mean you obviously want me here for a reason right?" Stefan said 

"We're going to your old apartment," Klaus said 

"Can I just stay here? Please.." I said giving Klaus my puppy dog eyes 

I can see that Klaus wanted to protest but gave into my puppy dog eyes, 

"Alright but when my sister wakes up, you stand back, also no running off again okay," Klaus said 

I nodded 

I sat on one of the coffins swinging my legs back and forth, waiting for Rebekah to wake up, 

I was glancing at my hands, then laid on the coffin casually, 

Swoosh-Thud!

I sat up to see the guard's body on the floor, dead with blood flowing out of his neck, I jumped off the coffin and ran to see Rebekah's body gone, 

"oh raspberries," I mumbled 

I turn to see Rebekah,

"Rebekah, im not an enemy," I said hoping she would believe me, 

Stepping out of the shadows, Rebekah stood tall in the flappers ruined dress once she saw me her face relaxed, 

"What are you doing here? and where is that stupid brother of mine?" She said 

"It's a long story, but your brother went to an apartment but he'll be back soon," I said 

She walked closer examined me with curiosity, but shrugged what ever she was thinking off, 

she clapped her hands together and changed the topic "Since my brother is away for now I am going to prank him, what do you think?" she asked looking down at me 

I nodded "Okay," I said smiling 

I held out my hand, 

"I'm Kylie by the way," I said smiling at her

she grabbed my hand gently, 

"Rebekah Mikealson" She said 

Grinning I told her about the moment I arrive at Mystic Falls till now leaving out the need to know details, like always, 

I have a good sense and I have a feeling me and Rebekah are going to be good friends, 

Hours, we chatted away with the wait for Klaus to arrive, till heavy footsteps echoed through the warehouse, Rebekah swooped away into hiding I pretended to be asleep on one of the coffins I controlled my breathing to make it more believable as the footsteps soon neared me before stopping completely, 

I felt a finger graze my cheek then tucking some hair behind my ear, 

soon his presences moved away making me peek out to see him move to Rebekah's coffin I'm guessing, 

"Rebekah... it's your big brother, come out, come out, wherever you are," Klaus said 

Swoosh, 

my eyes were now open, 

I see the view of Her stabbing Klaus deep in the chest with the dagger that was used on her, my eyes got wide

"Go to hell Nik!" She gritted out her teeth as he gasped with pain on the surprise attack, 

my eyes widened slightly as Klaus took the dagger out of his cheek with ease then dropping it on the floor Rebekah gave him a gloomy look 

"Don't pout, you knew it wouldn't kill me," Klaus said 

"Yeah but I was hoping it would hurt more," She said 

"I understand that you're upset with me, Rebekah.... so I'm going to let that go just this once brought you a little peace offering you can come in," Klaus said 

I snuck away since I think they needed to be alone, 

im leaning against the building with my ankles crossed and my hands in my jacket pockets looking up at the moon, 

when did my life get so messy? oh yeah on that night the accident I didn't mean for it to happen it just did, I thought 

I slowly slid down to the floor my body still hurting my head still feeling like it was gonna explode, 

I hear someone clear their throat, 

I look over my shoulder lazily, 

"So what happened?" I asked 

"Rebekah lost the necklace that we needed to contact the original witch," Klaus said 

"But don't worry about that what I wanna know is what's wrong?" Klaus said 

I arched my brow, 

"I can see it on your face little wolf," Klaus said 

oh boy how am I gonna get out of this one I thought
