In the flow of the river her hand acted as a sort of barrier. Shivering hands reached down into a freezing river ,almost numb. Suki cried in pain as the crimson hue came off her hands. Shaking, her frayed sweater did nothing but weigh her down as she tried to frantically run away her gangly legs she had previously been adored for getting in the way. Stumbling on rocks along the way, she made sure not to fall on any incase her blood was found at the scene. It provided a moment of laughter to her borderline insane mind that in bleak moments such as this, she still managed to stay out of authorities' ways.

Suki's alarm rung loudly as she was putting on her mascara. The sound of her alarm made sure to jolt her even though she was already awake. She had made a thin streak of mascara across the top of her already painted lid. Sighing and dropping the wand, she swiped across her phone, silencing the blaring sound. She had never understood why her mother forced her to put one on even though she woke up an hour earlier everyday since the third grade due to nerves. She wasn't completely sure what she was nervous about, just life in general she guessed. Swiping off the offending line, she put on her AirPods as she went walking carefully towards the elevator , careful not to trip.

She had slowed down to a walk when she first heard the police siren. What an irritating sound. The nerves had been the only thing she was running on and they had finally run out. Killing someone just didn't release the amount of dopamine she craved. Sky diving was her last bet.
