When the Deadliest Camp Auschwitz an other camps were liberated, Only 127 survived in that camp from a 1,000 People. Otto was one of them.
He hoped he'd See Anne, Margot and Edith again, but discovered they were dead.
Instead, Miep Gies handed over Anne's Diary to Otto. He knew she wrote a Diary but was surprised by his daughter's description of words. He didn't know how talented she was.
Anne had a dream: to publish her diary. Otto published her diary in 1947, her eslifelong dream she finally had achieved even if she's not alive anymore. He was interviewed many times about one subject: Anne. Of course Margot was just as important as Anne.
But Otto lived a very long life, he died in 1980 at 91 years old. At his death, he willed Anne's Manuscripts or Diary to Amsterdam's Museum. Now people can look at Anne's diary and see the message she brought into the world.
