Life Is a Fraction of Time

Time is a fraction of life
A second is an eternity.
The sun rises and the clouds pass by
In multiple shapes of white serenity.

The golden disc, flamboyant
Descends and picks a brush:
Yellow, purple, scarlet so buoyant
Colors the sky with lush.

The first stars blink and flickers
In the joyous synchrony of the night.
Some of them more libertine
Throw themselves to fall so bright.

Wishes are to be granted
While the moon, so shy
Peeps out from the darkness
And lights up the glorious sky.

Chronos, Unmerciful ruler
Sits on his throne, striking
Marking beginning and ends
Of our lives... Guarding.

Life is a fraction of time
And not the other way around.
Every second you waste
Will drip and bury in the ground.
