I step past a confused Ryder and move so that I'm only inches away from Cammy. Her smirk falters like I've suddenly intimidated her "Talk about that again Camilla and you won't even be able to say my name afterwards, because somewhere in that thick head of yours you'll remember that I'll do anything to stop myself from going down that road again"
Cammy looks generally scared when I turn around and walk away but not one part of me cares anymore
Ryder follows me and once we go around the corner I turn around to face him "look I know you're probably wondering what that was about and I promise I will tell you, just, just not today"
He nods "Its fine, I get it"
It's lunch before anything else interesting happens. Like our usual routine both Ryder and I are sitting at what's now 'our' table
Both of our phones beep and we make eye contact
"Great" I mutter before picking my phone up while Ryder does the same
Long time no gossip which probably has something to do with the fact our resident gossip weirdo has been too 'under the weather' to even say "boo"
Just in case you've been living under a rock recently Talia's ex best friend has turned on her admitting she was a slut and overreacting about her accident

And today it all came to blows with Cammy also revealing the reason for Talia's 'bad' injuries which was actually to get Ryder in bed with her and it seemed to have worked with him even defending her
I wonder how long that'll last when he realises all Talia is, is a crazy bitch and a slut who really isn't that pretty. I mean we even found this photo on his phone could he be anymore hypnotised - she's probably drugging him

Ryder looks at me with a worried look on his face but I surprise him by laughing "well that's not the reaction I expected" he raises his eyebrow
"I mean I know I have a glow to me today but it's from moisturiser not sex" I grin "and drugging you seriously is that all they have?"
He grins "I love that about you"
"What?" I ask him
"The way you take everything and brush it off not many people would do that"
"At the start of the year I probably would have let it bother me, but something changed me, maybe the accident maybe you but I really couldn't care less what anyone thinks anymore"
"Well you should be proud of yourself"
"Thank you" I give him a genuine smile "so about this wedding where is it?"
"A few towns over" he informs me "I think they're booking a hotel for all the guests"

I decided to go over and visit Emily and Oli at around 6pm to surprise her with me driving again. I feel like I haven't seen her in ages since she's moved out which was really weird
I knock twice on the door before letting myself in "Hey anyone home?" I shout into the house
"We're in the living room" Emily shouts back
I walk into the living room and sake my keys in the air "guess how I got here"

"How? When? What happened?"
"By putting my foot on the accelerator. Last night and Ryder needed a ride"
She runs over and hugs me "Talia I'm so proud of you" she grins
"So how have you been" I ask sitting down. Oli was in his play pin playing with some trucks
"Great actually I'm finally settled in and really enjoying my life" she tells me "I'm sorry it's been so long since I was last home but I've been so busy"
I shake my head "it's fine I think we've all been"
"So any gossip?" She asks me a grin on her face
"A shit load"
"I can't wait to hear all about it"
Half an hour later and I've updated Em on everything that's happened since we last seen each other. She suddenly gone quiet like she's have a debate in her head
