While showing her, he remembered a 15 years old him, adamant to help his brothers in shop....he was helping Kumerasan Mama to bring down sacks of goods from the truck. He was new in doing all this, so he wasn't sure on how to actually carry the sack on his back.. So, he did as Kumaresan Mama instructed him, but as a young boy, he made a mistake.. ⁣
⁣
He supposed to throw the hook on the sack to pull it up on the back of his shoulders. ⁣
He supposed to wait for Kumerasan Mama to put the gunny sack on him first before he hook it from the back and pull it up on his shoulders. ⁣
⁣
However, he threw the hook on his back to hook the sack a little too early... ⁣
Instead of hooking the sack, he punctured his shoulders with the hook.. ⁣
He still remembers the agony of the metal hook poking his body... ⁣
He was in so much pain but he knew, if he reacts to the pain his brothers won't let him to do any work anymore in the shop. ⁣
So he controlled. ⁣
The truth was.. ⁣
He wanted to scream his heart out.. ⁣
He wanted to cry so hard... ⁣
But in reality... ⁣
He just shouted once... ⁣
Then.. He just squeezed his eyes shut and bit his tongue the entire time to his hide misery.. ⁣

He had to spend a day in the hospital due to that injury fearing any infection caused by the metal. However he stayed just for his family, so that they wouldn't worry about him. ⁣
⁣
She touched the scar on his shoulder and winched as if she felt the pain by touching it... ⁣
⁣
Then he continued showing her some scars on him with a story of young Kathir falling down from ladders while arranging goods or having boxes fall on him sometimes. ⁣

Each scar  had a story and he had so many of them... ⁣
⁣
He was telling her with so much pride in him, with no remorse or regret at all... ⁣
⁣
