Codename: Dormitory

Start from the beginning

A man suddenly appears, signaling the four to follow him. He heads over to the left tower stairway, where they assume the elevators to the dorms room lie.

N growls at his response, yanking her shoulder away from K's grasp. He looks her, eyebrows raised. "N, calm down. We'll stay here until we figure out what's going on."

C looks at her, "K's right. We have no clue why we're here. None of us have displayed abilities since we woke up in the truck. All we can do is wait."

N sighs, "Fine. Let's go."

The four of them go into the direction they saw the man walk. They quickly catch up to not get left behind

N follows him quietly, looking around. K watches her, his mind growing concerned every passing minute.

C looks at her bracelet, fiddling with it. T plays with his ring. None of the four say anything, tensions rising higher and higher between them.

They continue walking for a few more moments before arriving at a pair of elevator doors. The man pushes the button to receive the elevator, saying nothing to the teens he's leading.

As it arrives, the four teens follow the man into the elevator. N watches him as he pushes the fifth floor.

'Fifth floor, got it.' She thinks, a scheme running through her mind.

The elevator stops and the five of them walk out. The man leads the Quad to one room at the very end of the hall.

"Here you are. Room 5010," The man gruffly says, handing each of them a keycard. "Lunch is in a couple of hours. Your uniforms will be delivered before you leave. Don't break the rules."

With that, he leaves the four alone.

"Uniforms?" K groans, using the keycard the man gave them, "Why do we have to deal with wearing uniforms?"

"Oh, be quiet K," C chuckles, jumping onto the bed. "Stop complaining. Delphine Academy is the most prestigious school in Destin. The government funds the entire campus. Their uniforms can't be that bad."

K nods, urging her to continue, noticing she has much more to say.

She continues, "You saw the main building! It was massive, full of technology! Shops selling different products! Sitting areas are everywhere in the main building. The grand staircase leading towards both towers from the main building. The line of elevators towards the upper floor of the towers."

N, sitting at the window sill, quietly says, "Delphine Acadamy may be prestigious but it does hold its secrets."

Her companions look at her with confusion. K walks up to her, curiously. T follows, grabbing C's hand to face her.

"What's that supposed to mean?" K asks, forcing her to look at him. "N, please. Tell us."

N gets out of his hold and faces the window again, "It. Is. Nothing."

"It isn't nothing, N! We're stuck here for who knows how long!" C snaps, unusual for her seemingly calm personality. "Please. Just tell us."

"You'll find out eventually. We all will," She looks at them, calmly. "It's only a matter of time before it all happens."

She looks away, solemnly. Her gaze watches the cars as they pass by the academy grounds.

A knock on their door stops them from pestering her more. N gets up to answer it.

A man, dressed similarly to one who brought them up, hands her a pile of clothes. "Your uniforms. Please wear them during school hours. Remember, don't break the rules."

With that, he leaves, saying nothing else.

N walks back to her companions with clothes in hand. She handed each of them a set. "Here."

N never bothered and went straight into the bathroom to get changed. C was a little more curious and looked around the room. She noticed the room was fairly spacious with two full bathrooms. Taking account of the two closets as well, she inspected both of them. One was full of girls' clothes, though two different styles. The other was full of boys' clothes, once again two different styles.

Four different sets of clothes. Four different styles of clothes. C assumed whoever set up this room knew they were coming. One set was more laidback, tomboyish but stylish nonetheless. A badass better describes it. Another was for a more feminine but comfortable, one who cared much more about her appearance.

The opposite closet has one set full of cooler clothes — clothes one would describe as a bad boy — for one who cared more about his reputation along with his looks. The other set was filled with someone who cares but not as much.

She hums, 'Not bad. Both styles look pretty good for both of them'

N came out of the bathroom wearing the uniform the man gave them. She looks in the mirror and clicks her tongue. She lightly chuckles, "Comfortable but annoying still. But the skirt. It needs to go."

N looks over to C, whose still inspecting the boys' closet. Then she turns to face the boys laying on one of the beds. She scoffs, "Hurry up and change, we don't have much time before we have to report to the Cafeteria. There are two bathrooms, just go change already."

K chuckles, "Fine. Whatever you say, your highness."

She rolls her eyes, as he heads over to one of the bathrooms. T didn't say anything, as he grabs the uniform and walks over to the other bathroom. C doesn't care and quickly changes into the remaining set of clothes left on the bed.

The two boys walk out, K being more reluctant than the other. T just doesn't seem to care.

N laughs at K's discomfort, "How cute."

He scowls but his eyes give him away.

T, quiet still, mutters, "It's whatever."

A loud bell was heard and static came from the overhead. "Report to the cafeteria."

The four sigh. N nods to the door, "Let's go. I'm sure we'll find the place fine."
