Almost exposed

KARA'S POV
at the DEO
(the day after she saved Alex and Maggie)

"How's Maggie?" Jonn asked worriedly

"She woke up earlier. She's fine. She needs Alex on her side today" I answered

I'am worried about Alex and Maggie until now. They're both badasses and I never thought that there is someone who's capable of kidnapping them and plus, Maggie became unconcious

"I'm gonna talk to him" I said pointing to the guy who almost shoot my sister. I was about to go to his human prisoner room when Jonn stopped me

"We asked him for the whole time but he hadn't said anything" Jonn said holding my arm

"You didn't read his mind?" I asked

"I did. But I can't" He said letting out a sigh

"Jonn, my sister and her girlfriend almost died! You have to let me try" I insist

He remained silent and he nodded as an action of his approval "Just control yourself" is the only thing he said before letting me go

I headed straight to the guy's human prisoner room and I found him laying there comfortably

"Comfy?" I asked coldly and he laughed

"Supergirl. National City's hero" He laughed

"Let me take this easy. Tell me who demanded you to kidnap them?" I askes gently keeping my cool

"You're not gonna get any information from me" He said with a smirk

"Nope. That's not the right answer. I'm gonna ask you again. Who told you?!" I said. My voice is now getting higher

He just pouted and shaked his head. I took a deep breathe and tried to control myself. But I can't.

My sister almost died and the DEO can't find her. I don't know what woul've happen if I didn't hear her

I opened his room and get into it. I pulled him up and pushed him on the wall "Don't make me angry" I said putting my anger to my fist all together

"Are you pissed?" He teased.

I punched him with my full strength making his face bleed. I pulled him up again. I was ready to use my heat vision to him when Jonn came

"Supergirl I told you to control yourself" Jonn remind me.

I put him down and looked at him with an anger on my eyes "You're lucky he came" I said before leaving the room

I flew away from the DEO and headed to my appartment to check up on Alex and Maggie. And when I reached my appartment, I saw them sitting on the couch comfortably and watching TV. I smiled in a relief when I saw them

"Hey, do you want to join us?" Maggie asked giving me a seat

"No I'm fine. I have to get back at Catco" I said checking my phone

While I'm looking at my phone, Lena's name popped up. She sent me a message so I opened it

From: Lena

Hey Kar, where are you? Do you forgot our lunch again?

"Oh my God, I did" I said surprisedly

"What?" Alex asked confusedly

"I'm sorry I need to go" I said before leaving them again.

Instead of walking, I flew away not changing my clothes because I'm in a hurry. Thank Rao I'm fast enough to reached the food chain in just one second. I landed to somewhere no one will see. I walked towards Lena who's sitting there waiting for me

"Hey Lena" I greeted her with a smile

"I thought you forgot" she giggled when she hugged me

"Nope I wont" I lied. I totally forgot it. I've been thinking about Alex and Maggie's safety for the whole time and maybe that's why I forgot everything

"So have you found your cat?" she asked

"My... Cat?" I asked cluelessly

"Yeah, you are in a hurry yesterday because your pet is missing"

"Oh... Yeah. My pet... Yeah.. I found him yeah under the bed"

"Are you alright?" Lena asked. She maybe noticed that I'm lying

"Yeah" I said and I tried to give her a smile

"You're not a good liar. You have a crinkle" She giggled

My crinkle? She noticed that one too?

"I don't have a crinkle" I said trying to convince her

"Yeah you're actually crinkling right now" she said pointing to my crinkle

"Duh, I'm not-" I said but a waiter came so we stopped from talking

"Kale for Ms. Kara and donuts for Ms. Lena" The waiter said

"You got it wrong, Kale is for Lena. Donuts are mine" I told the waiter making Lena laugh

The waiter switched our food shyly before he left us alone again

"Anyway, do you know what Kryptonite is?" Lena asked making me panicked. I froze on my seat for a second not knowing what to say

"A kryptonite. Yeah, I know it" I answered trying to keep normal so Lena wouldn't notice anything

"I used that word as a reflection to the word "weakness" since it is Superman and Supergirl's weakness" Lena explained

"Do you know what my biggest Kryptonite is?" Lena added raising her eyebrows

"What?" I replied

"It is when someone closed to me, like very very close like you and me... Lied to me" She said staring at the glass of wine on her hand

"I mean, I just couldn't forgive when the people around me lied to me for the whole time. It makes me pissed off. And when I'am pissed, my Luthor genes shines through" she continued at it made me panicked.

"Oh rao" is what I can only say after hearing her

"How about you? What's your kryptonite?" She suddenly asked making me panicked a little bit more. Oh my rao, what am I going to say? I can't just tell her that I'm Supergirl and my Kryptonite is actually a Kryptonite. How am I gonna deal with it.

"Earth to Kara Danvers?" I heard Lena said waking me up from my thoughts

I was about to talk and change the topic when Alex came together with Maggie

"Good day little Danvers and a good Luthor" Maggie greeted us with a smile

Alex sat next to me and Maggie sat next to Katie greeting each other

"What's with your face?" Alex whispered

"Lena just asked me what is my kryptonite" I said in a low voice and she looked surprised

"You told her?" Alex asked worriedly

"No, she didn't know. I'll tell you later" Kara said dragging out the conversation

"Mind if we join the lunch?" Maggie asked with a smile

"Sure" Lena approved with a smile as well.

Lena, Maggie, Alex and I joined lunched together. We chatted and laughed the wole time. Lena is now comforatble to be with Maggie and Alex since we've hang out before on my earth birthday
