"I just... I can't get her out of my head," she responds weakly, shoulders slumped.

"Oh you," Josh throws an arm around her, pulling her close.

"It's fine — there's another party this weekend and let's just hope she's there,"

And before Josh can say anything, she twirls, escaping from Josh's arm, and rushes away, saying that there is something important that she needs to take care of. He knows that she is only trying to get away from him — she has been obsessing over this mysterious party girl for months Josh can't help but worry about her. However, every time he approaches the topic of her possibly letting go of this girl, she has always become defensive. Josh doesn't want to push her too hard and risk losing her friendship — for her sake, he trusts that she will make wise choices.

And as if just to erase the worry in his mind, his phone buzzes in his pocket, signalling messages and before he even takes the device out, he can feel a smile forming on his face — as expected the texts are from the bridge boy.

"Godzilla," Josh reads out loud the billboard sign.

"Huh, cool,"

Josh and Elliot are at a drive-in theatre not far from their town. Once in a while they try and go to other places than the bridge, just chilling out together. And so far, things have been going on pretty smoothly, which only have kept Josh wary at all times. He is waiting for the other shoe to drop and for him to turn miserable again.

"I'll go get the popcorn and drinks,"

"Oh no, wait. I can go — you went the last time too," the blond goes to open the door, but Elliot grabs his arm.

"No it's fine, I'll go — you stay," he smiles in reassurance.

Josh smiles thinking what he could have possibly done to deserve such a sweet boy in his life. Although they are out of town, they aren't too far away and it is possible that someone he knows might spot them. Josh is comfortable being in public with Elliot but he still hasn't come out to his parents, worrying what their reactions would be. And he doesn't want his parents knowing from someone else other than him. He just needs a little bit more to find the courage to tell them.
