2. Begin by knowing the end.

"Meaning is determined by where the story ends." – John Silber, The Art of Time in Fiction.

You must know the ending of the story so that it will be easy for you to begin. This will also help you in knowing the theme of your story. Aristotle's Law of Action, "Outcome must be the logical result of the events that preceded it," will then apply. This will create connection in your writing so that you will not get lost in the process.
