Midoriya's P.OV
Making it to the toilet, I run straight into an empty stall not even bothering to check for anyone else. Closing the toilet lid I sit down and let myself unravel. Throwing my school bag to the ground I cover my mouth with both of my hands to muffle my sobbing. My sadness causes me to lose my breath, my chest shuddering as I try to breathe through my sobs. I force myself to take a deep breathe which comes as a shaky shallow breath of fresh air which calms the pounding sensation of an approaching headache.

"Hey, are you okay man?" A voice asks following a knock on the stall door.

"Kirishima?" I mutter. "I can't let him see se like this. What do I do? Could I pretend and stay quiet?" I wonder.

"Midoriya is that you in there? Buddy what's wrong?" He asks, his voice full of empathy and compassion.

"How? How did you know?" I ask between breaths. Tears are still pouring out of my eyes as I frantically try to wipe my face and recover some sort of dignity.

"I could recognise that muttering from anywhere," Kirishima jokes.

"Oh, I'm sorry for bothering you," I choke out.

"No man, open the door. What happened? Talk to me?" Kirishima sounds as if he's almost begging me to do what he says.

"It's nothing Kirishima," I tell him as my tears start to slow. "Nothing new anyway," I whisper.

"What do you mean by that?" Kirishima says suddenly. "What do you mean?" Kirishima says sounding panicked before bagging on the door. "Open this door, Midoriya, please," Kirishima says as I hear his fists bang against the stall door before resting there.

I take a deep sigh, wiping my eyes one last time and standing up, smile, tell him it's nothing. Don't be a burden. I kick my bag to the side and unlock the door, swinging it open, a sudden weight hits my chest and knocks me backwards.

"Ah?!" I yelp as I fall backwards. I tense, bracing myself for the ground but it doesn't come. Instead, I open my eyes that I had instinctively shut only to see Kirishima wide-eyed. I suddenly become aware of how close his face is to me and his strong arm wrapped around my back. The way his sharp shark teeth bite down onto his bottom lip and I suddenly notice his chubby cheeks littered with freckles.

"How?" I whisper. I feel my face heat up in amazement again. "What?" I stutter. I notice Kirishima's other hand is holding us up.  I'm pulled into his chest, held tightly by his arm while his other hand is on the ground, posed as if mid-push-up.

"I'm going to lower you now," Kirishima says tensely, teeth marks denting his lip.  All I can do is nod before Kirishima gently lowers me to the ground and I land softly on my bum. Kirishima's arm lands to the side of my face, he's still posed as if doing a pushup, his hair falls forward and tickles my face. My cheeks heat up again at our approximately before he drops to his knees, consequently straddling my legs before sitting upright. Kirishima grins at me, as I smile weakly back up at him.

"That was pretty manly Kirishima," I say more confidently.

"Sorry Midoriya, that was my fault," Kirishima looks down his brown eyes appearing sad.

"No, don't, don't worry about it," I tell him as I shuffle myself to sit upright and lean against the wall.

"Are you okay man?" Kirishima asks me. He copies me, sitting down on the against the opposite wall. He shuffles over so our legs are almost touching.

"It's just," I look up starring into Kirishima eyes. "It happened to you too?" I ask him, my voice heavy with sadness. My fingers clench into fists resting atop my knees.

"What, Midoriya?" Kirishima says quietly. His head drops, looking down Kirishima mumbles, "You're smart Midoriya. I think I know what you mean."

"I, I saw, I was going to, in the hall," I try to recount to Kirishima what happens but a heaviness in my chest weighs on me causing me to stumble on my words.

"Deep breaths Midoriya," Kirishima kindly says as he pats his hand on my leg.

"Todoroki," I blurt out causing Kirishima's hand to freeze on my leg. "I was going to confess my feelings to him but I saw him and Yayorozu in the hallway..." I trial off squeezing my eyes tight to stop any more wasteful tears from falling.

"Midoriya," Kirishima says softly, "That's a manly thing to have done. I'm sorry you didn't know about them."

"Wait, what?" I look up at Kirishima and he looks hesitant.

"They've been uh, how do I say this?" Kirishima says rubbing the back of his head. "Most of the class has been noticing their uh, behaviour? Towards each other during class."

"Oh," I mutter hanging my head low. I should have known then. I'm meant to be the observant one. That's all I've known to do and I couldn't work this out? Pathetic, maybe Kacchan was right...

"Midoriya, love makes us blind. It's not your fault," Kirishima says. I look up at the withdrawal of Kirishisma's hand leave my leg, only to clench at his side, his gaze burning holes into the wall.

I nod, not having it in me to disagree. "Are, are you okay Kirishima?" I ask him, my voice sounding hoarse and scratched to my ears.

"Oh," Kirishima says, a light blush catching his cheeks. "I uh, confessed to Mina. She looked like she wanted to laugh before she ran away," Kirishima confides.

"That's not very nice of her," I whisper. "She ran into me before I saw..." I trail off.

"We don't need them," Kirishima says letting out a small chuckle. How is he so positive?  "Come on Midoriya, let's hang out together then," Kirishima says. "Let's forget about them and hang out together instead."

"Alright then," I say getting to my feet. I hold my hand out to Kirishima who's still sitting on the ground, "Let's hang out bro."

Kirishima smiles brightly showing off his sharp, shark-like teeth. He takes my hand and I help him to his feet. "Sounds good bro," He says with a smile that shows his pearly white teeth.
