Part 1

The place that you are living in now is known as a kingdom where you are accepted as a prince. You were treated like you belong there. Everyone would stop and look at you because they saw a prince that has walked into the room. Your previous family had died fighting for humanity. Your mother offered you into a kingdom with her dying breath. You were kindly accepted and were trained and raised as one of them. You live alongside the two other princes known as Callum and Ezran. You guys always looked out for each other when times are tough. What you are training for is a Knight and you are willing to do whatever to become the strongest there is. No one is gonna tell you that you don't have the right to become a Knight.

It was one night and you were sleeping peacefully in your room. You knew something suspicious was going on. You wanted to see if someone has broke in. You wanted to alert your brothers about this.

Y/n: Hey guys, I don't wanna scare you but I think that someone might have broken into the kingdom.

Callum: What makes you think that Y/n?

Y/n: I don't know but I think that something is up and I'm gonna find out by myself.

You took up your sword, headed out, and saw what was happening. A guard was being attacked by an elf. You ran up to help. Taking a swift of your sword, he swiped it so fast at that elf. The elf was however able to dodge because it was fast. Whatever that wife wants, you must t let have its way. The elf ran up towards you to attack you but you caught its risk. You used her head to head-butt that elf, making it back away. Using the hilt of your sword, you hit it hard on the nose. It was reaching for its weapon but you stepped on its chest and pointed your sword right at its face. You were gonna finish off that elf but you saw the panic on its face. You know you must do your duty as a Knight but you can't kill something that is defenseless and doesn't know how to defend itself. You sighed before putting your sword back into your sheath.

Y/n: I'll let this little incident slide for now. But if you come back or tell anyone about this. I'll make sure that you wished that you have die today.

You left the elf who was still in shock all alone in the rain. The elf ram around back over to the group. When it took off its hood, it revealed that it was a female. You on the other went to tell anyone about what had just happened. You were running in the hall and the first that you thought about talking to was Viren.

Y/n: Sir Viren, there has been an intruder.

Viren: What?

Y/n: It was an elf. Don't worry about it. I took great care of it.

Viren: Hmm, good job Y/n.

Y/n: But I Sorta let it go.

Viren: You let it live?

Y/n: I have to sir. I saw the fear in its eyes. It was scared and I couldn't just bring myself to do it.

Viren: Even if it was scared. You should have done your job and finished it. Do you dare allow those filthy creatures to live? Done forget the pain that they have brought to humanity. You're supposed to be a Knight. You mustn't show mercy.

Y/n: I'm sorry Sir. I won't make that same mistake again.

You went up into your and got back into your bed? Was it right that you or that elf go? It could come back and attack the kingdom. No matter, you would rather die fighting rather than go out like a coward.

The next day.

The night was tough for you since you got up out of your bed and fought that elf. You let it go. How could you? Why would someone like you want to become a Knight if you can't even kill a single elf? You keep beating yourself up about it. If another elf comes back here, you won't hesitate this time. There were rather other things that you should worry about. You need to get some food into that empty stomach of yours.
