After dating Jake for almost a year now, one of the things you've found out about to is that he denies being sick.
I honestly funny sometimes when you tell him he needs to rest and he goes into baby mode saying no.

Y/n:Jake you're gonna be out in the cold, you're already really sick and the last thing you want is to get even more sick.
Jake:but they need me
Y/n:babe, I'm sure they won't mind especially if you're unwell.

Before he could even speak he runs into the bathroom, me following close behind and begins to throw up.

You call Sam & Colby and tell him Jake's not well and they completely understand.
For the rest of the night, you and Jake spend in watching movies.
