New York City was made by the people, but ran by the mafia.
Allow me to introduce you to the captain of this operation. Robert Franklyn. Robert is a mobster who runs casinos around an unknown part of New York. He is also known to be very, very good at poker. He isn't the biggest fan of getting his hands dirty, but when the time calls for it, he will. He is also a big fan of looking at the handy work of his members.
With his lieutenants occupied with business endeavours, Robert wanted someone by his side. Someone that he could trust to get the job done. So he hired a bodyguard and HER name was Vixie. She is very good at her job and can diffuse a situation very quickly when needed. Vixie is very loyal to Robert and has proved it countless times to him and members of the family.
Robert only wanted to do two things in life: party and make money. In fact, the best parties were when he celebrated making money. Robert wanted every dollar in New York City to come through the mafia. So you had three options. 1. Sell the mafia your business. 2. Partner with Robert and the rest of the mafia or 3. Pay the mafia for protection.
It just so happened that Frenchie Morris, owner of Freddy's, the hottest club in New York City, ran into some financial trouble and was looking for a partner and maybe even some muscle. This was yet another deal signed for Robert.
But with all the new business deals and extra money floating around, the mafia caught the eye of New York City's hottest new detective. Detective Shields.
All of his time was spent trying to track down Robert and his crew. And he finally got his first lead when he was left an anonymous tip.
