~Abandoned Dream~

The summer breeze brushed past my hair as I walked down the aisle. I walked down cautiously looking where everything is and the store, it looked like it had been robbed and almost nothing was on the shelves, wrappers and plastic bottles littered the ground. 

Then I saw something move across the aisle, I jumped and proceeded to go see what I saw, I turned the corner to see it was just a bird on one of the shelves looking onto the desolate landscape that was outside. 

The trees were all stripped of their leaves and many of them stripped of their bark as well, The grass was brown and overgrown and was as tall as my knees. Abandoned cars were scattered throughout the roads, and I could hear the near existent sound of a car burning only a few blocks away.

I look back as to where the bird was earlier and it was gone. I continued walking down the aisles and on one of them there was this can of something on it, by itself on the shelf, walk over to it and I lift it up, and feel something attached to it, and then the sound of bells start to ring, 

I hear the sound of rushing footsteps coming, and I grab my gun, and I hear them come closer, I ready my gun, and I just shoot at what was coming and I heard a loud thump on the floor, I go see what it is and on the floor was a person, blood was coming out and I rushed over to see who they were, and they turn their head to face me.

It was my boyfriend, and he was laying there but I noticed that I shot him in the head and he was bleeding but he was still alive. He gets up and I stumble towards the ground. He gets up and manages to get my gun, he loads it and faces it towards me, but then I hear him calling my name, and I wake up.

I wake in the middle of the night, panting and trying to breathe I hug him and tell him everything that happened in my 'so-called' dream and I just stay there on my bed hugging him, but then I could hear the lowing humming of what sounded like something burning, I get up and see what's going on and then I see the car on fire.
