-Adam looked at his friend, bewildered.

-"[What?]"

-Ty looked at him and calmly repeated, "{Why don't we just sneak out?}"

- The two stared at each until Adam jumped up and yelled, "[Ty, you're a genius! When do we sneak out?"]"

- He was bursting at the seams with excitement. His eagerness attracted the attention of a nearby pigman, Captain Crubeens. Concerned, the captain walked towards the pair.

-"[You two better not be plotting anything dangerous]" He said. "[I can't help but overhear the two of you say you'll sneak to the Overworld, I highly recommend you don't]"

-Adam groaned,"[Not this again, Dad gave me this lecture last week]"

-"The Pigman shook his head, "[With good reason too, young lord. The surface world is much too dangerous for you.]"

-Ty interjected, "[But I'll be there too, and nothing can stop a dragon!]"

-"[Maybe not an adult dragon]" The Captain agreed, "[But you're a young dragon, a flying nestling even. The Overworld may end up treating you the worst.]"

-The two pouted at Crubeens.

-"[We just want to take a little peek!]" They exclaimed, frowning.

-"[How are we supposed to keep the world balanced if we don't even know what it looks like?]" Adam retorted.

-"[Or get stronger if all we do is fight the same thing every day?]" Ty added,"[Dad says in order for me to get stronger I should fight a variety of people.]"

-"[You have all the time in the world to get stronger, but right now you are much too young]." The Pigman said, "[At least wait until you're bigger, a little closer to adult dragon size, then you'll be ready to go out.]"

- The pair grumbled, arms crossed and irritated. Demi-gods grow slowly, even more so for non-human ones, and Adam was fed up with waiting.

-Fingers crossed behind his back, he said, "[I guess we'll have to wait, then.]"

- Captain Crubeens smiled at him sadly, "[Guess so, but cheer up, you'll get bigger in no time]"

-With that, The Captain turned around and walked away, throwing one last glance at the duo before returning to his post.

- Adam turned to look at his best friend and said, "{We are definitely not going to wait that long.}"

- Ty, taken aback by the sudden switch to Enderian, hastily agreed.

-------

- Meanwhile, Herobrine was pacing around the room, King End watched him as he processed the new information.

-"[And you're sure he's a part of this?]" He finally said, looking at the dragon.

-"{That's what it describes,}" King End firmly answered. "{Amongst other things, this means our sons may end up at the surface before they're ready.}"

-"[Andy,]" The hell god said, hand on his forehead, "[You're kidding me, right?]"

-The dragon looked at him sadly, "{'Fraid not.}"

- Herobrine sighed, "[90 years culminating in a disaster like this. I wonder what Dahlia would think.]"

-"{Well, maybe it won't be a disaster,}" The King said hopefully.

--------

-"[Okay, so here's the plan,]" Adam said.

- The pair had moved themselves to Adam's redecorated room. It wasn't a terribly big room, but the lack of a bed made it look empty and big. An obsidian studded lamp now sat next to his sword, 'Goldy'.

-'Goldy' was an iron longsword with a golden hilt. It was smaller than most training swords, but it was made with the first ores Adam created, establishing an important milestone in his life. He has other swords, but prefers using 'Goldy', even if it was more suited for an early preteen child.

-The two were mapping out the details of their 'escape plan' on a piece of parchment Adam found in the castle's library. The parchment didn't really look all that special, the only things on it were a bunch of dots connected to each other with lines. One even looked like a spoon.

-"[There are 4 portals that lead straight to the surface]" Adam began.

-"[The northern gate has the closest portal, but it's heavily guarded by Afelia and Chanpūrū. Occasionally, Galbi is there too.]" He said, gesturing towards the makeshift map they made. "[The hallway leading there has guards too, so we definitely can't go out that way.]"

-"[The southern gate is the second closest, but Char and Siu are hardly ever at their post.]" He continued. "[Unfortunately, this means General Ribs is constantly checking in on them, and neither of us can really outrun him.]"

-"[The eastern gate isn't on and hasn't been on for a while now, so there's no hope getting out there.]"

-"[But since its inactive, there aren't a lot of guards the halls leading there, we can use that hall to get out of the castle if we're careful.]"

-"{But what if someone sees us anyway?}" Ty interrupted.

-Adam looked puzzled. "[Uh...well]"

- He scratched his head sheepishly.

-"[I don't know?]" Was his answer.

- Ty looked thoughtful for a second and came up with, "{Why don't we flip your shirt inside out?}"

- His friend looked at him, baffled.

-"{The inside of your shirt is grey isn't it?}"

- Adam smiled widely at the sudden revelation before saying, "[Are you suggesting we sneak out by using the darkness of the halls?]"

- Ty nodded, and yelped in surprise as Adam pulled him into a huge hug and exclaimed, "[Ty, you're a genius!]"

-Ty smiled and agreed, "{Yes, I am.}"

- Adam released him and said, "[All that's left now is figuring out which portal we leave through.]"

-"{The only one left is the Western gate, right? Who's guarding it?}"

-Adam grinned mischievously and answered, "[It's guarded by the ever greedy Goetta. A gold trail will lead him away easily]"

- He stood up stretched

-"[Let's go get ready!]"
