Chapter 1: On the Daily

-The morning sun was peering through the horizon. The tiger clan was getting ready to start their day with their every day routines. Stone who is sitting on a tall flat rock is ready to address his clan. Since Stone is the leader it is his duty to do so.-

Stone: Tank, Jay, and Lily are you able to be the hunting party for today?

-The 3 tigers had nodded and then got ready for the hunting party.-

Tank: Let's go cats, it's almost snowfall and we've got no time to slack off.

Lily: -Growls at Tank.- I'm not a young cub any more.

Tank: Never said you were Lily.

Lily: well you sure treat me like one.

Stone: -Cut them off before anything else was said.- Tank, Lily enough! When will you both stop bickering at each other? It is all you ever do. You act like you 2 are from different tiger clans.

-Both Lily and Tank apologized for their behaviour.-

Stone: Now since the only one that didn't bicker I nominate Jay to lead the hunting party.

Jay: -Lifted my head high and said proudly.- I wont let you down.

Stone: -Had nodded.- I know you wont you are my best soldier dash hunter.

-The 3 tigers had ventured away from the clans camp.-

Tank: Wish I lead the hunting party.

Lily: -Walking next to tank and growling.- Of course you do. You ruined that though.

Tank: -Shoved Lily.- You mean you ruined that?

Jay: -Rolls my head.- Come on guys. This is ridiculous. Plus you both are going to scare away all the food.

Lily: -Shoves Tank back.- Don't shove me!

Tank: -Bares my teeth.-

Jay: -Quickly turns around, swipes both Tank and Lily across the face with one paw and one swipe.- You 2 need to stop acting so childish. Put your differences aside and act as one. We are here to hunt not shed blood. Now... I see a deer up ahead. Who is going to do what?

Tank: -Sitting, rubbing my cheek with my paw.-

Lily: -Was doing the same as Tank and then put paw down.- Tank and I can redirect the deer over to you so you can pounce on it.

Jay: Good idea. There is sure to be more deer in the area. So while you guys are chasing the deer, minus well gather the lot of them and we can try to take out as many as we can.

Lily: Brilliant.

Tank: I got say I can see why Stone picked you to lead. Let's do this.

-The 3 went hunting and ended up with only 3 deer with the plan they had.-

Jay: Stone would be proud of us. Nice work team. -Grabs one of the deer by the antler and starts dragging it back to camp. Lily and Tank dragging the other two deer. We make it back to camp. Put the deer in the kill pile. Trots over to Stone.- We caught 3 deer.

Stone: -Gives a friendly nod to Jay.- Thank you Jay. You guys did well.

Jay: Stone is it ok if I go for a walk?

Stone: Of course, there's is nothing else for you to do.

Jay: Thank you sir. -Dips head respectfully. Walks away from the camp. Wanders to a river. Gets a drink out of it. Looks up and sees a large male lion across the river staring at me.- Meko.

Meko: Hello Jay. -Gives Jay a serious grin.- Still wandering out here alone?

Jay: Yeah, its peaceful here. Question is, what are you doing so near our land?

Meko: Stopped for a quick drink. Plenty of water here for everyone. It isn't nice to keep everything here for yourself. -Chuckles.- If you guys can even keep it to yourselves without getting yourselves hurt from predators.

Jay: -Feels like something is up. Stands my ground.- My camp isn't that far from here. I'm not sure if you want to cross that line. 

Meko: I'm not afraid of you or your clan. I'm stronger then the lot of you.

Jay: Maybe, but if we all fight you at once you are as good as gone. I know what your intentions are. You will not prevail.

Meko: Is that a challenge?

Jay: Depends on how you look at it. 

Meko: -Puffs out chest.- I'll give you 10 minutes to bring your clan here. If you fail, I will come there myself.

Jay: -Rolls my eyes.- Whatever. -Leaves the river running back home. Heads straight for Stone. Skirts to a stop. Was panting.- Stone... Meko... He wants to fight.
