Today's the big day! Victoria spent the night to make sure nothing goes wrong between me and Josh. It's 7:30am and Josh didn't come home until about two hours ago. He complimented on how the house looked, I don't know why. Anyway I go into the kitchen and make some coffee. Victoria comes in two minutes later, "Good morning Alex. You ready for today?" I smile brightly, "Of course!" We laugh. We didn't care if Josh heard, he knows Victoria was always loud and he was drunk anyway. Victoria starts making pancakes and I make some homemade syrup. At 8:00am we are sitting at the table talking about what to do today.
"So what is happening again?" I ask again. "Our flight is leaving at 2:30pm so we need to be at the airport at 2:00pm just in case. We will tell Josh you are spending the night at my house. It will take him awhile before he actually comes to my house and looks for us but we will already be with Mari. Speaking of she will be at the gate when we land and she is bringing Sohinki from Smosh Games." "Okay so what do we do in the meantime?" I ask scarfing down a pancake. "I don't know what do you want to do?" Hmmmm, I think to myself of all the things that we could do as our last day in Rhode Island. "Let's go to the beach since it's our last day here might as well take the time to admire it."
We take Victoria's car and head to the beach. Josh texts me when he wakes up which is at noon, not surprised. All I say in reply is okay and that I'm with Victoria and nothing more. Only two more hours.

Alex and I brought out an extra blanket that I had in my car. We laid it out on the sand and put some stuff on it so it won't blow away. After a while swimming, we layed on the blanket and just stared at the ocean, lost in our own minds. "I'm going to miss this," I say after a few minutes. "Yeah me too. the water is so nice and the sky is beautiful today. I hope it will be like this in California." Alex says. "Yeah me too. Speaking of it's 1:34pm," I say checking my phone, "we better head back and grab your things and be on our way." "Okay" she says getting up slowly.
We arrive back at Alex's place in about five minutes. When we were on our way back, Josh texted Alex that he went out with friends, so this is even better. We get out of the car and run to the door. Alex unlocks it and runs to her bedroom. I follow her and help her by running back and forth to the car and putting suitcases in the trunk. She leaves a note and hops in the car.

We quickly put my bags in the car. I leave a note in my room that says Bye Bitch and hop in the car. This is my moment, I thought, I finally get to leave this place! I'm free...
