Earlier today, Kim Jisoo's agency confirmed she received an offer for starring in "Polaris" and is currently reviewing it positively.

"Polaris" is based off of  "A Long Letter to the Moon", a popular webtoon by Jeon Jeongguk. It revolves around an amnesiac fallen angel who hunts down demons for a chance at redemption. Having had a hard time with her latest hit, who has disguised himself as a powerful business mogul, she forms an unlikely alliance with another demon—all without knowing that he was the one she fell from grace for.

If she accepts, Jisoo would be playing the role of Kang Soojin, the guarded fallen angel who is trying to figure out the reason behind her seemingly innate need to seek vengeance. This would be her second time playing the female lead after her lovable portrayal of Lim Jugyeong in "True Beauty".

Meanwhile, Kim Taehyung has been confirmed to play Choi Juwon, the charismatic demon who starts to realize the world isn't as black and white as it seems. This marks the end of his unexpected two year long hiatus after showing his versatility in a string of critically acclaimed movies such as indie movie "Winter Bear" and sci-fi blockbuster "Singularity".

The supporting cast is as follows: Jisoo's labelmate Kim Seokjin will make his drama return by playing the elusive main antagonist. Actress Bae Joohyun will play another mysterious fallen angel with her own hidden agenda. TWICE's Nayeon, who was confirmed to sing for the OST, will also make her drama comeback as the Soojin's friendly, naive neighbor.

The drama "Polaris" is scheduled to premiere in the second half of the year.
