Is...is she serious?

I ignore her and keep walking. Yeah no, I'll got someone off real quick if it's needed.

"Jamie? Where are you going? Why aren't you talking to me?" She didn't give up as she walked up to me.

Ugh, just leave me alone, "Shouldn't you be somewhere else trying to forget about me?" I said and she looked surprised as I walked past her.

I made it to the office and was directed to the principal's office. I sat down in front him as there was a silence in the air.

"I'm surprised you're in here, Jamie." Principal Wilson admitted.

"I'm sure a lot of people are too."

"You didn't have to talk to him like that, Jamie."

"I said what I said, I got my point across and there's nothing I can do about it now." I said coldly.

"Jamie, what's wrong? Why the change of attitude?" He asked curiously.

"Simple, I'm in a school filled with children that still feed off of attention and drama and teachers that still live in the past. But other than that, I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive." I say my face showing no emotions.

"If you say so. Since this is your first time, you're getting a warning. Don't let this happen again, Jamie. You're free to go."

I nod and leave. When I left the office the bell rang. Next class: English. Finally something I'm good at and enjoy.

I got to class and word about me snapping already spread around. Why does everything travel so fast? I ignored everything as I was writing down definitions, notes, and basic English stuff.

I was hoping today would be a writing day so I can feel free to express some feelings on paper. Writing is something important to me, it's coping mechanism for me.

While I was writing notes, minding my own, someone threw a balled up piece of paper on my desk. What a classic.

I un-balled it and read it,

Meet me at the side of school when schools over.

That was it. No name. Just directions.

Whatever, I'll just go to get it over with, might be important but it also might not be. I'll take my chances.

Okay, lunch time. I haven't had lunch by myself since freshman year, so why the hell is this so difficult? You just sit and eat, so why is there so much pressure to sit somewhere 'special'? I'll just go outside, I want to relax. I'm not that hungry anyways.

I go outside and go to the eating area, where most people are when they eat lunch. When I walked to an empty table people were watching me, why can't I just be invisible?

I sit down and I get a call. I look at the caller ID and it's B! I smile for the first time today and answer.

"Hey, B!" I say excited and happy.

"Hey, JJ. How is everything?" He asks and my smile goes just as fast as it came.

I groan, "Terrible. "

"Oh...? How so?" He questions and I tell him about my terrible day and about how people keep staring at me.

"I leave you for one day, and you get in trouble." B laughs.

"It's not funny!" I pout and whine but I couldn't help but smile.

"You're right. It's hilarious! JJ, you yelled at a teacher, for good reasons by the way, cut off your so called friends, and manage to be the talk of the school in one day! Pretty impressive, Jamie."

"Well when you put it like that, it sounds cool but having to go through it? That's a different story."

"Yeah, you have a point. I have to go though. I love you, JJ, Bye."

"Bye, love you too."

I hung up and saw a group of people secretively looking at me but failing. I roll my eyes and go back to try and ignore them. Emphasis on try.

The group was sitting at the table in front of me laughing and talking. They all sat where they all originally sit but my spot was taken by the cheerleader from the hallway.

I kinda feel bad for her to be honest. She's a sweet girl and she looks like she's actually enjoying her time with Ryan. Hopefully she doesn't end up too upset when Ryan leaves her.

It's the end of the day and I mentally agreed to go to the side of school so I went.

I had just made it there and I got pushed against the wall. I groaned in pain and the pain didn't end when they punched me in my stomach.

I fell to the ground and held my hand over my stomach. I got kicked back into the wall and the person stomped on my leg. I yelled from the pain as tears started to sting my eyes.

Then everything stopped, they walked away, leaving me there in pain. I didn't even see the person's face. My leg hurt like hell and I could feel a bruise forming there and on my stomach. Just great.

What a fantastic day.

I couldn't get up so I had to wait for some of the pain to subside a bit. I guess I'm taking the public bus home then.
