-Russell POV-
I watch in aw as she shifted, so did everyone else. Once she fully shifted she fell asleep.
"She sure is her mothers daughter." my mom smiles at her and I look at her confused
"What do you mean?"
"You know the pain you felt when you first shifter?" I nod remembering how I wanted to die, "well imagine that but 100x grater, her bones not only broke and change positions but that also grew and she had to get new bone grow in. I mean look at her wings and tail. But she didn't scream or make a sound, she didn't want anyone to know she was in pain. Her mother was the same way but it almost got her killed, if not for Jess's father her mother would have died before Jess or her brother where born" my mom just kept smiling lovingly at her as I walked over and rubbed her head.
I chuckled when she purred, she was all black and was HUGE, not fat wise but like the length of her body and the hight, I mean she's laying down and still taller then me. My mom gets everyone to go back to there homes as I sat agains Jess and rubes her head. I slowly fall asleep after a while
-Katie POV-
When I open my eyes no one is around and it's pitch black out but somehow I can see, kinda, it was more like I could see outlines of stuff and i could see heat waves. I go to stand up to realize I was a dragon and to notice Russell was asleep leaning on my front arm, or should I say leg? You get what I mean
I smile a little mad nudge him with my snout a little.
"Mom please let me sleep.......i want to finish this dream" he rolls over and I nudge him again, "mom come on, and stop shifting to wake me" I nudge him one more time and he jumps up pissed, "DAMN IT MOM....." he stops and looks around trying to remember what happened then he looks at me and blushes, I think, judging by how his cheeks got a lot warmer then normal I guess he was blushing
I laugh best I could as a dragon as he huffs as crosses his arms pouting, "that wasn't nice"
I stop laughing and look at him still smiling. I pull him closet and trap him under my arms, legs whatever and lick him making him laugh.
"Your not a dog or a wolf so you can't lick" I give him the 'you sure about that' look and lick him again
"Ok ok, come on, let's get you back home and in bed. And go pee before you et into bed because once were in bed in not letting you go"
I nod and slowly stand up trying to get used to my legs. After a moment I start walking closer to the pack house and to the back door then close my eye. I think about my human self and shift make to me only to realize I was naked and panic and think about my mermaid and somehow shift into it
"Huh, well that's new. Never been able to do tht before" I say as I flop my tail around
"Aww, I missed seeing you naked?" Russell pouts as he comes over to me and picks me up bride style
"There you guys are I was wondering-" Kathy begins talking only to stop when she sees me as a mermaid
I see a few kids about 5 gasp and jump up and down, "mommy mommy it's a mermaid!" I giggle and Russell chuckles
"Do you guess want to come feel my tail?" I could tell they wanted to by the way they looked at it
"Can we mommy?" The do a pouty face to there mom and she's sighs bad let's them
Russell sits down with me in his lap as the kids run over to me and feel my tail.
