No One Is Without A Mistake: Chapter 1

The stairs creaked beneath the feet of the governess, who went to wake the inmates. Thomas winced as he heard the creak of stairs. He opened his eyes and sighed at the "nooooooooo school". "Thomas, get up," the governess said. Thomas muttered, but got up. The governess went on. Thomas sat up, rubbed his eyes, and yawned. He walked lazily over his blanket, exposing his bony body. He wore black torn jeans. He pulled a black T-shirt and black socks from a small closet across from the bed. He put it on himself and ran down the stairs for breakfast.

The dining room was small, but ten children from the Home were eating comfortably there. Thomas's brother, Liam, was already sitting at the table, enjoying his bread with jam. "Liam" Thomas roared, hurling toward his brother. Liam looked up and chewed his bread. "Well?" He asked with his mouth full and spewed a few crumbs. Thomas seemed to be banged with rage "where I got those pens, you said you'd give them back yesterday". Liam looked like he didn't understand anything, but then it seemed as if "yeah, I know, you have them in my room on the table. And my brother, "he grumbled. Thomas calmed down and sat down next to him. Liam grinned "yeah, I'm pako I know it". Thomas ate half a little bread, and Liam pulled a crowd and a half bread.

Liam sat in Thomas's room, playing with a zipper on his sweatshirt. "What is it like in second grade?" Liam asked his older brother. "Heavy. I'll give you some advice" Thomas turned from his mirror to his younger brother. Curious, Liam cocked his head. Thomas took a breath. "Never get into anything. NEVER" Liam nodded. Liam murmured to himself, "Don't mess around." "Second. Trust nobody. NOBODY" Thomas said seriously. Liam nodded again, leveling the information in his head. Thomas looked out the window. "Don't tell anyone you're my brother ". Liam nodded quickly. They both pulled up and ran on the bus because they lost track of time.
