"My names is Russ, I'll be your guide today. As you already know, you're spending the day with the Sherlockians. I should hope it's not too obvious how rude most of us are, what with all the staring." He purses his lips, glancing back at the dozen or so teens. They casually look around, feigning innocence.

I relax, they all seem good humored. If not uncannily intelligent. I release a reluctant laugh. He smiles and faintly laughs along with me.

A gentle tap on my shoulder catches my attention. I see Russ's lopsided grin slightly fade.
I turn to see Blue, not 10 inches from my face.

"Oh! Bl- erm...hi..."

OH MY GOD ASDFGHJKL I DID NOT
I CANT BELIEVE MYSELF I COULD DIE OF EMBARRASSMENT

I feel an intense blush creeping up my neck, surely my ears are cherry red.
"Sebastian." Murmurs Russ helpfully. I'm grateful for the help.

"Hi Sebastian." I correct myself, clenching and unclenching my fists.
Why am I such a nervous wreck? Ugh I'm so awkward. I wish the others would stop staring.

He peers curiously, widening his eyes as if he's trying to see through me.
"Hi Aura, I'm Sebastian, " He coughs, " I'll be your observer over the next ten days."

I nod, acknowledging his words.
"I can wait to spend time with you and I hope you thoroughly enjoy your expe-"

I don't let him finish

"Cut the rehearsed crap. Tell me what I'm supposed to do and let's roll."

Even I am shocked at my sudden outburst. Craaaap.

He merely shakes his head knowingly, running his hand through his shaggy hair. His smile is genuine.

"Okie dokie, let's get to work."
Talk about perfect timing! The bell rings and the majority of the students leave. It's finally quiet.

Russ and Blu- er, Sebastian are the only ones left with me.
There's an awkward silence. The two sit opposite me, each looking apprehensive. I don't think they like each other too much. They're still friendly towards eacother...it just seems forced.
I think I might want to check out the history there. Mental note taken.

Because I am being tested, my originally planned schedule has been compromised.
My classes are now predetermined for specific fandoms and will change depending on the day.

Today I will be in "Mind Palace 101" first period, "History of preservative chemicals" second period, "Violin lessons" third period, "Basics of deduction" fourth period, lunch, "Handling feels" fifth period, "Character chemistry" sixth period, and finally, a free period.

Russ and Blue (CRAP), I mean Sebastian, go over this with me.
Blebastian will follow me through all of my classes.
He is to monitor how well I fit in with my assigned fandom friends. He will check in with Russ, who in turn shall comment on his opinion of me.
It will be like this for all of my groups, and I must admit I'm excited.

The morning runs smoothly. I'm optimistic about my testing and results, Russ is friendly and Blue is helpful.

Today couldn't be more perfect in fact. Though, I could do without the violin; unfortunately, I didn't inherit a freaky knack for music like Henry.

I am starving when lunch comes around, learning about fandoms is heard work.
Sherlock especially, seeing as it's such an intellectually biased show.

My stomach sinks when I realize I don't know where to sit or with whom. I'm sure Blue- SEBASTIAN is probably with his important certified mudblood friends. Russ probably wants to be around his old Sherlockian friends.
