Maybe, just maybe she should have tried to know the blonde more. Maybe it was time for her to stop believing in everything people say without a prove. Just... Maybe.

«Jisoo-ya» Irene called her grabbing her attention «Will you come to our party tonight?»
Jisoo closed her eyes a moment and said «No. I don't want to get in trouble.»
Irene debated «You won't, trust us. We've been breaking the rules from a long time, we've almost never got caught.»
«That almost isn't reassuring plus, wouldn't your conscience feel bad about doing this?»
Irene chuckled «Look at Lisa» both quickly glanced at the blonde who was still bickering with the cat eyes girl «Doesn't she look thoughts free? If we don't count her personal issues?» Jisoo fixed her gaze from Irene to Lisa, still listening to the older «She's been acting this way since she came basically. The first year she was like a soldier. But then she learned that sometimes throwing your freedom away to please others and don't gain anything it's dumb. So she became the Lisa that you see.»
«Ya! Jennie-ah!» exclaimed Lisa mad grabbing the other girl hair who did the same and both started pulling
«Lalisa!» exclaimed Jennie back

Irene shook her head chuckling «This two jinjja...» she looked at Jisoo «Excuse me for a moment.» the black head hummed and the oldest stood up and went in between the two «Okay, okay, this is enough. Lisa stop teasing Jennie with Kai or whomever. Jennie stop testing Lisa's patience and let her brothers alone.»
The two pointed their index finger at each other saying «She started!!»
Jisoo couldn't help but silently chuckle, no matter what, the two were actual kids and just like everyone else.

Later on, Jisoo and Chaeyoung were chatting in the canteen, over some chicken noodle soup, bulgogi and sweet potatoes
«So, are you sure you want to join Lalisa and Irene's party?» the older questioned as the younger hummed nodding
«Yeah. You should as well, it would be easier to understand the way they behave. Remember what I've told you that day that Jennie brought me to that place? Unnie, I'm not kidding, I didn't feel bad and it felt... I'm not sure how to describe that feeling... You should try unnie. I'll be there. Even though you're not exactly friend with Lisa or Irene.»
«I don't know... My grandmother wouldn't be proud... A-And the rules...»
«Unnie, I'll be there as well. Just come. Just once. I want you to understand me.»
Jisoo sighed «Fine. Fine. I'll come...»

«Lalisa Manoban!» the principal voice echoed in the canteen as everyone looked at Lisa, Jennie looking at her confused but not surprised, the blonde simply shrugged as Irene asked her
«What did you do this time?»
Lisa answered «I'm living? And most likely for the glue I placed on Brother Beomseok bed... How do they know it was me?»
Minzy asked «Are you sure it's not because of the party?»
Lisa and Irene shook their heads, the latter saying «The people we invited are trusted people. There's no way it might have reached the principal. And everyone is cautious about it cause they know there would be terrible consequences.»
«LALISA MANOBAN!» the principal voice echoed again as Lisa sighed and stood up yelling back
«I'm here! I'm here!» she sighed once again and grabbing her backpack she said «If you need me, you know where to find me.» Jennie grabbed her arm stopping her
«Don't go Lili. They will beat you bad.»
Lisa shrugged «I'm used to it. No need to worry about me.» and just like that the blonde reached the principal and followed him.

Jennie stood up and went to Jisoo «Unnie, unnie do something please. It's her birthday, at least for today, I don't wanna see her hurt.»
Jisoo looked at her confused «How can I help? I'm just me. A student.»
Jennie shook her head «No you're a Kim. You're part of THE Kim family. The founder of this institute. You can help her.»
Jisoo shook her head «I can't. And I don't want to get involved with her.»
Jennie bursted out startling Jisoo «Jesus Christ unnie! Just grow some balls and help your roommate and dongsaeng out! You're a fucking whimp too scared to do what you want in life and break some rules! You're a pity Kim Jisoo.» Jennie stormed out, followed by Irene who gave Jisoo a pitiful gaze, Minzy right behind them giving Jisoo a small smile. The three disappeared from the view and Jisoo looked at Chaeyoung
«W-What have I ended up in without even trying or wanting?»
Chaeyoung was equally shocked «I-I don't know... But unnie, are you alright?»
Jisoo hummed «Gwenchana..» it was partly a lie, she kinda felt hurt by Jennie's words, cause deep inside she knew it was the truth, what Jennie said was a slap of reality that she didn't want to acknowledge.

Suddenly a girl and a boy sat with them, the guy near Jisoo, the girl near Chaeyoung who questioned «And who are you?»
The girl said «Yuqi and Hoseok but call him J-Hope. You girl» she pointed at Jisoo «How could you piss Jennie off and make Irene disgust you in such a short time?»
Hoseok said «Yeah. Like, sis, you could have helped poor Lisa. At least today. Hopefully the party will still be held. I was so waiting for it.»
Yuqi hummed «Same. Listen Kim Jisoo, I ain't got nothing against you and this is my first year here, but everyone knows that it's not good to end on Jennie's bad side and adding Irene as well? Sis you could have troubles.»
Chaeyoung gasped worried «B-But she's Lisa's roommate and she looks over her, why would they?»
Hoseok eyes widened as he made an exaggerated gasp then looked at Jisoo «You're dead meat. You're in charge of Lisa yet you didn't help her and you let this happen? Honestly I feel sorry for you.» the boy said stealing some potatoes from Jisoo's plate, the black head trying to understand why they were saying that, she knew Jennie was... something, but she didn't look that threatening.

«I really can't do anything.» Jisoo said, which wasn't really a lie, yeah she might have had a possibility to make things better, but she was only the granddaughter of the family who actually founded the institute, she was still young and surely didn't hold much power over what was happening.

Yuqi sighed «Listen, just give it a try, at least to save yourself from Jenrene's fury.» Jisoo pursed her lips «I don't fancy violence unnie» Yuqi went on «And Jennie unnie tends to be violent when it comes to Lisa, same for Irene, plus add the fact that the two are a thing.»
Hoseok clapped once «Honey what? Are they an actual thing? Since when?»
Yuqi nodded, ready to spill the tea «It didn't happen too long ago, but let's be honest, the two have a chemistry that it was either they ended up together or ender up together. Like there was no other option. The two can't really stay away, I've been told that this not-official thing goes on from a couple of years, it was about time. I'm sorry for Seulgi unnie thought, heard she has a huge crush on Irene unnie since they were little.»
Hoseok face was so surprised and his mouth was apart «No way. Lucky for me Yoongi was available without anyone crushing on him. My Suga's just mine.»
Chaeyoung asked surprised «Wait, are you...?»
«Gay?» said J-Hope «Indeed. Wasn't that clear honey? Haven't you seen the strong visual me and Yoongi baby hold?»
«Visual shock.» teased Yuqi earning a sweet potato on her face which she quickly whiped away «Immature brat.»
Hoseok stood up «Look who's talking, little, "I'm such a spoiled brat that I don't even know what I can still want"» Yuqi also stood up and the two went away bickering, leaving Chaeyoung and Jisoo confused, the younger commenting
«Khm... Unnie, maybe you should at least try. Just for your safety.»
Jisoo sighed and stood up collecting her stuff «Fine. So everyone will be able to see that I wasn't lying about not being able to go anything.»
