Chapter 7: Change

~ Four years later ~

LAUREL P.O.V.

"Hyah!" I yell out.

Nate and I crossed swords, and then we continue to strike each other.

I charge at him and he slides under my sword.

He trips me with his as he slid and I face slam cutting my forehead a little.

"Dammit!" I says slamming my hands on the floor.

He laughs and helps me up.

I dust off the dirt on my clothes and I look around.

"Wait, where'd Levi go?!"

Nate and I look up at the sky and back at each other, then we run opposite directions.

LEVI P.O.V.

I stay in the sky focusing while I see Aunt Laurel and Nate training.

I'm surprised they haven't noticed I was missing.

It was almost my turn to have some fun.

They both look up realizing where I was, and start running in opposite directions.

I transform into my Demon mode and launch my attack.

"VIOLET TURBULENCE!" I yell out charging to the floor and I punch the ground with my purple lightning charged demonic arm.

The ground rumbles and sonic waves hit Nate and Laurel making them flip over and fall.

Ever since my training with Orien, I've changed... I'm not the same as before. I had to do unforgivable things and things I regret...

But because of that training I grew stronger and now I know what I'm capable of.

I have the powers of the four elements out of seven... fire, lightning, ice and earth.

I also still have the power of a normal vampire too.

I have super speed, excessive strength, super hearing, and I can still smell things well like every other vampire.

Me, Nate, and Aunt Laurel started training together ever since I got back 2 years ago.

Nate got stronger and Aunt Laurel was just there to help us train.

I learned how to control my urge of drinking blood.

I can still eat normal human food but I still have to drink animal blood to keep me sane.

I guess I had frozen off into space because I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder and I grab the hand and flipped over whose ever it was.

It was Nate's cause he was on the floor holding his neck in pain groaning.

"Not again" he groaned.

"Sorry man, bad reflex habit" I said as I helped him up.

His shirt got torn and dirty so he changes into a clean one.

"I gotta go, promised someone I'd have lunch with them" he says.

"Alright, see you tomorrow?"

"You bet" he says as we fist bump.

After I waved as Nate left, I turned around and realized it wasn't just him who I had knocked down before... Aunt Laurel.

She comes speeding up to me and we cross swords.

"I wanna rematch" she says smirking, pushing against my sword.

"Careful what you wish for" I say smirking back... and my eyes turn red.

NATE P.O.V.

I continue to rub my neck as I walk.

Levi really did it this time huh?

I walked up to the palace, and the door was opened.

"Good evening sir Nathanial" said John, the butler.

"Hello John, how are you doing?"

"I am doing well, thank you for asking."

He lets me in, and I wait at the end of a stairway.

"She'll be down in a moment" he says.

"Thank you."

I hear footsteps running down the hall upstairs.

She sees me and smiles, I smile back and she runs down the stairs.

"Nate! I'm so glad you're here" she runs down the stairs and hugs me.

I hug her and smile at her, "Hey.. Haley."
