"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon!" Cole hissed
"Oh and f.y.i. It's Dupain-Cheng now" I told them as we took an elevator for the judging room.
I closed the door right in their faces. "That was Classic" Mari giggled
I slumped against the elevator wall and slid down. I wasn't prepared to see them today everything they ever did came rushing back to me reopening several old wounds. I forced the tears down and knew that out of all my team mates I couldn't be the one to get akumatized due to my powers and sheer strength.
Once in the dining room we waited for both Uncle Cheng and Zane to be done. Mari, Adrien and I stood as far from my team mates as we possibly could so we wouldn't have to deal with them. Zane then came out with his dish Serenatea Pork Strips. "The meat is cooked fine but it's inedible" One said
"Agreed "the other judges but Chloe said
Zane looked defeated.My eyes narrowed at Chloe who was chuckling her butt off she had to have done this then oh no uncle. Mari and I shared a look as uncle's dish came out and it was the same results. "Sorry but neither of you gets title of best chef "The host said
"Chloe" I said
"I would disagree with you but I know her all to well" Adrien said
"I'll go tell Zane about this you tell uncle" Mari told me
I nodded grateful that I wouldn't be dealing with the guys at all. "Uncle wait" I told him
He stopped and turned around. "Chloe the mayor's daughter sabotaged you and your soup and I'm..."
"It's fine Lloyd not your fault" He said in broken french, "Soup just not make the cut"
He went back into the kitchen. "C'mon you two we'll wait for him down stairs" Adrien said
Mari and I both nodded reluctantly and waited in the lobby for our uncle only to have to share the lobby with my former teammates of all things. "You are coming back to Ninjago with us and that is final "Cole said
"He doesn't have to do anything besides he's my brother now and you'd need our parents permission before you did anything"Mari retorted
It was then a glare off between Mari and Adrien vs. Kai, Cole, and Jay.
Then a little flying rice ball with an eye directly in the middle showed up. "Not polite to leave table without chef permission seal all exits" a man or akuma that appeared on the projection said
Then before any of us could do anything the doors where sealed tight by carmel sauce. "Well it's totally indestructable" Adrien said rapping a fist against the carmel covered glass doors.
"Our great uncle is still upatairs" Mari said
"And so is Zane, but he'll be fine" Jay said
"I'll go look for them regardless we are caught in an akuma attack" Adrien said
"Akuma?" The guys questioned
"An akuma happens when some one feels negative emotions and Hawkmoth takes advantage of that" Adrien explained
