"RUN!!" a distant voice wailed in fear.
Stumbling, tripping, panting, climbing, grasping onto the hard tree trunks as I pushed through the forest. Head hazy as if the earth was pulling me down onto the floor. The remnants of that voice repeating like a broken record in my head. Run. Sunlight pierced my eyes in ways that would of given me epilepsy if my lungs didn't feel like they were about to fall out my chest. But then the light hit my face in its glowing state as the trees fell behind me as I fell to the ground and darkness embraced me, falling deep into peaceful bliss.

"Shall we wake her up" the tall man questioned, peering over the slender girl in the hospital bed. "No, she needs sleep Xavier" retorted the snowy haired boy perched beside the sleeping girl. "We need answers Dylan, who she is? Why she's here?--" Xavier argued in hopes of making his friend come to reason, "Enough." bellowed Dylan suddenly standing up and beside the man, "Let her rest, no one has come through our borders unless they were sent. No one can find this place without withholding the blood of our kind. She is one of us, but the question of who she is or why she is here. I guess we will have to find out." "As you wish, sir" Xavier mumbled, taunting Dylan with that word as he walked out into the desolate halls of the palace, leaving Dylan with the sleeping girl. "who are you?" Dylan whispered as he looked upon her, mostly to himself, hoping for some answer he knew he would have to wait to get.
A few days passed, Dylan remained by her when he could but he never really could stay for longer than a few hours a day, But whenever he got a break he'd go and check on her. Dylan became accustomed to the white plastered walls, the smell of cleanliness and the spotless marble floors the same way he got used to the deafening silence occasionally abrupted by doctors and patients, alike moving and talking through the halls. Sitting beside her he had began to even memorise her subconsciously; her curly cherry hair that cascaded down to her shoulders and forehead in an untamed manor, her full lips with a red tint and her lightly tanned skin. Her solemn expression was the only thing that made her look like she wasn't a porcelain doll, Xavier has commented on his second visit. "she still not awake?" Xavier appeared, concern in his voice "its been days" Dylan gaze toward her never wavered as Xavier began striding towards his friend and the motionless girl he frowned in confusion, why won't she wake up? Normally a simple concussion and fatigue only takes a few hours at most to recover, why won't she? A groan emerged from her as she stirred, "get the doctor" rushed Dylan "she's awake".

Beep. Beep. Beep. Sounded a foreign noise. My eyelids so heavy as I tried to open them, like they had been sewn shut for years and now for my eyes to open again was unnatural to them. As the slits of brightness within the black began to widen I came face to face with a cream coloured ceiling, it was obviously done years ago and small strips were peeling off in their slow nature. "hello miss" sounded a soft voice that caused me to shriek in surprise, as my back and legs started scrambling towards the top of the bed in a defensive nature only to be met by 3 figures. A doctor, who I assume was the one who spoke smiled assuringly as she put her stephiscope back on. The second seemed to be assessing me, his gold eyes scanning mine, searching for something. In the corner of the room perched a blonde man on a ledge, no not blonde, white. Like freshly fallen snow. He seemed to be scanning me but not in the same intuitive way the tall man was. "your ok" the doctor comforted, "where the hell am I!? Why am I in a hospital room? "do you remember your name?" quizzically the tall guy intervened his gold eyes scanning my face. "Jupiter" I breathed, the familiarity of my name coming past my lips "Jupiter" "how did you get here?" the same voice replied. "I-" I cut myself off as I thought, How did I get here? "I don't- I don't know" how the fuck can I only remember my name? "where did you grow up" the nurse asked, her soothing aura fading to worry. "I can't remember" "how old are you?" she interjected "18" I spoke before I had even processed the question. "Xavier, Doctor a word" the blonde one spoke to the golden eyed man I now knew to be Xavier as they began to leave the room. What the hell is happening to me?...

"What's going on?" Dylan whispered harshly at the doctor, she sighed in response "how can she not remember her past but remembers things about herself?" Xavier retorted in confusion as he glanced at Jupiter. "and Jupiter? Is this some prank--?" Dylan scoffed "wait" the doctor whispered harshly, her eyes scanning the floor as she worked something out. "She only forgot things about her past life... she's crossed the barrier! That's why!" she squealed in joy and relief, "what does that mean? " Xavier stared at her in confusion as her eyes met Dylans. She sighed lightly "up to this point the girl has been apart of the human world, had a mundane life but on your 17th birthday God's and their children develop a kind of signiture that other mysticals could detect, the gods created this so that they would always come back and not neglect their destined life. That's why she's here." "but that doesn't explain why she doesn't remember her past? Why didn't the same thing happened to us? And how did she find this place?" Dylan whispered a little softer than before "well the gods decided that it was easier for people to leave their old life's behind if they didn't remember it, so once you cross the barrier for the first time you forget your mundane past. You both were born here and have had no life in the human world up until a few years ago when you turned 19, so you have nothing to forget. And my guess is her human guardian must of told her" she finished, her hand resting on her chin as she furrowed her brows in concentration and what seemed like sadness. Dylan seemed to mirror the same emotion as he looking back into the room the girl staring wide-eyed out the window with her doll like eyes, her striking hair was nothing compared to the galaxy her eyes seemed to mirror "well now we know" sighed Xavier, "so what do you want to do Dylan?"
