"I hate this thing," Billy grumbled, bouncing his arms off of his sides. The puffy coat he wore did make his arms stand out from his body a little, and Johnny had to hide his grin. "I look like the kid from A Christmas Story, Pops."

"You look like a little boy that walks to school, and it's snowing, Billy," Johnny said, zipping up the jacket he'd bought for the boy. "You needed something besides a sweater to keep warm."

"Kids already tease me...Sometimes I just wish they'd all burn," Billy said in as gruff of a tone as an eight-year-old can muster.

Johnny raised his eyebrows, nodding slowly. "Remember what I said about starting fires?"
