It's another rainy, miserable in Derry and the young brunette was sitting by her window watching the outside world go by as she sniffled.
The girl was full of the cold and hated being away from her friends; Stanley, Eddie, Bill and Richie.
The five of them had been friends since kindergarten where they were classed as "losers" hence the name of their group and were constantly harassed by the Bower's gang.
As she daydreamed out of her window, she noticed a little boy wearing a yellow raincoat chase after a paper boat, Georgie Denbrough.
She watched the little boy turn the corner of the street not knowing that it would be the last time she would see the younger Denbrough.
