The brunette sat alongside the river as the sun glistened onto the water, slowly turning into a beautiful orange covered stream. Surrounding the boy were holes. Holes filled with gunpowder and some pixie dust. A dark short haired girl holding a broom stick walked up next to the brunette and put her hand on his shoulder.

"You know this isn't our fault, more specifically it's not your fault. Nobody could have predicted this outcome." The girl holding the broomstick announced.

"I don't know anymore Nora, us witches have been tip-toeing on this thin ice with the plains for years, it was a matter of time before history would have repeated itself. Before any of this happened we were happily enjoying ourselves with our stupid nonsense and memes. I wish we could turn back time and just get lost in the past." the brunette responded.

Nora sighed and sat down next to him. "Oh Dominik, you know I wish I could as well but some things are just meant to happen. Maybe this time in this war we can change the outcome of our future and the future of the relationship between plains and witches. Also, I totally wish I had my memes back." Slowly Nora dips her toes in the icy yet refreshing water, and surely Dominik follows.

The two sit on the bank of the river watching the sunset over the ashes that were once trees. Nora scoots closer to Dominik and gives him a slight peck on his cheek. Dominik jerks away with his face bright red.

"Oh, uh, sorry Dominik that was a bit bold wasn't it? Thought the mood was fitting in a sense." Nora mumbled. She starts fumbling with her thumbs and is staring intently at the water. "You know, the water calms me, it reminds me that there are still a few good things left in this world." she says staring at Dominik, and smiles shyly.

"Nora... I'm just a bit timid is all don't go thinking this is your fault. I've never been in a relationship and i'm new to everything, I mean right now I probably look like a tomato." Dominik chuckles.

Nora starts laughing at the statement and grabs his face and pulls it towards her. She stares right into his eyes with an extreme focus. "Hmmm, seems you're right, you've got a case of the tomato face! Want me to whip up a cure?"

"No no, I am quite fine without your alleged cure, which I wouldn't trust since cures aren't exactly your strong suite." Dominik plays. The two start poking fun at each other. "I'm glad we got stuck here together, you know?"

"Yeah me too, even if we're in the war I wouldn't change a thing between us." Nora replied. "It seems to be getting sorta late Dom, you ready to head back to the others and get some rest? Today was a big day."

"Though I am not quite ready to leave I do agree that I'm tired and that it's been a huge day for us. Let's go, the others have probably been waiting on us for awhile." Dominik motioned for Nora to come and they hopped on her broomstick.
