Nagisa's 'Little' Sister

Chapter 4

May woke up to alot of pain on her rib.

She was cuddling with her brother who had dry tear stains on his cheaks.

May slightly stroked his cheaked making Nagisa yawn, waking up.

"Goodmorning Nagisa."  May said holding her side.

"Hey May, how is your side." Nagisa said.

"It's fine." May said but Nagisa new she was lieing she was always stubborn.

"Fine if you say so." Nagisa said still covered in bruses.

The both got up and got changed trying their best to cover up their injurys.

"Here let me help you." May said helping Nagisa put his pigtails in.

"Thanks May." Nagisa said with a smile.

They queitly walked out of the room hoping there mom isn't awake.

She was asleep on the couch with a book on her lap.

They didn't grab anything to eat because they new their mom was a very light sleeper.

They slipped out the door with a breath of relif.

May went back to holding her side as it started to hurt again.

"Let's go." May whispered still scared she would wake Hiromi up.

May and Nagisa got to school but May was a little slower then usaul because of her rib.

"May, are you sure your okay." Nagisa said slowing down so May could catch up.

"Y-Yeah I fine." May stuttered as the pain grew in her rib.

"No your not. I can tell by your face your in a lot of pain." Nagisa said.

"I-I'm f-fine. We a-are almost t-to school a-anyway." May said as they climbed the stairs to school.

"Fine, but after school if your still in pain. I am going to take you to the hospital." Nagisa said putting a hand on May's shoulder.

She gave him a nod as they got to the top of the stairs.

They were greeted by Karma and Kayano.

"Hi May~" Kayano said in her cheerfull voice.

"Hey, Kayano." May said, with a smile, still holding holding her rib.

"Are you okay?" Kayano said showing some consern in her voice.

"Yeah, I'm okay." May said, trying her best to hid the pain she was in.

Nagisa looked over to May and thought, 'She was always good at hiding her pain.'

Nagisa was alway's worried about May. He new how much she hated thier mom and how she would dress her up.

"Nagisa!" Karma yelled popping Nagisa out of his thoughts.

"Huh, sorry Karma." Nagisa said with a fant blush on his face.

"What were you thinking about?" Karma said as they walked side by side.

"N-Nothing," Nagisa stuttered.

"Come on Nagisa, we have been friends for a long time. I know when your lying." Karma said making Nagisa's eyes widen.

Nagisa didn't anwser he just looked away blushing even more, because he got caught.

"Come on Nagisa! Don't just not anwser me." Karma said slitly yelling which made Nagisa jump.

Nagisa put his head down looking at his feet.

"Fine Nagisa!! Don't anwser me it's fine!!!" Karma said storming off.

Nagisa was about to stop him but he couldn't find his words.

"What was all that about?" Rio said walking up to Nagisa.

"I-I..." Nagisa was about to tell her when he stopped himself.

"It's nothing." Nagisa said as they made it to their class.
