Their Visit Down Under

The Unexpected Guest

"Nicole! Com down stairs and set the table please."

I rush downstairs and almost run into my dad running up the other way. "Woow, slow down there cowboy!" i mock my dad. "What's the rush?"

"Our lunch guests should be arriving soon, so i have to go change," he explains.

"We have guests?" 

"Yes, i told you last week!" We then both realised i was still in my pyjamas. My dad and i both go upstairs to change, asking my sister to set the table instead of myself. After changing into a pair of light blue skinny jeans and a pink summery tank, i go to my dads room where i find him dressed and checking his phone. 

"So who's coming?" i question. 

"A colleague of mine and his family from England," he replies.

"Cool! British accents like One Direction," I squeal in excitement as my dad rolls his eyes.

Lets go crazy crazy crazy till we see the sun...

"Rhonda's calling. Thanks dad!" i say as i walk to my room to answer my phone.

"Hey Rhonda"

"Nicole! Guess what!"

"What?"

"Well, you know how 1D is supposedly in the city right now. Well it turns out that Liam is actually headed for the Western Suburbs with his family."

"Really? What's he doing here? Everything in the city!"

"I don't know, and i don't really care. Come 1D hunting with me?"

"I wish i could but we're having guests over for lunch.."

"Aww that sucks! Don't worry, ill mention you if i meet him."

"Haha thanks princess." Diiiiinnnnggg Dooooonnnnggggg. "They're here! Good luck, bye!"

"Bye," she says as i hang up the phone and quickly fluff my hair before going down stairs (I have big, curly brown hair so brushing isn't really an option).

I make it to the door just in time to greet our guests, when i am faced with one of my five all time idols. I am left utterly speechless as he looks at me with his adorable, boyish smile and glistening brown eyes and says, "Hello there. My name's Liam."
