Cody and I decided to come to Arizona. He wanted to be around his family while he processed what happened last night. Maybe being with his family will help him out, his dad can help him out. He didn't want to leave me back at home because of the pregnancy.

Jennifer knocks at the bedroom door as I stand up and open it. Cody prompts himself up on the bed as she walks in.
"I know last night was a heartbreak for everyone. And I know your guys' mind isn't exactly in a pregnancy celebration set right now. But, Ashli, your dad, Cole and I decided to organize a baby shower for Sophia." She says as I go and sit on the bed with Cody
"We had organized it to be out in LA but things took a turn. So on Saturday you guys will be having your baby shower at the house. Everyone already knows, the team, friends and family. You guys deserve to be happy about your pregnancy."
Cody lets out a soft laugh, "It's okay mom, thank you. We truly do appreciate it." she then continues to say, "And don't worry. Ashli helped since she's more into knowing what you guys like" She smiles widely as she steps out
I lay back down as I look at Cody and smile.
"what?" he laughs as he kisses me softly and put his hand softly on my belly
"what if we have our baby here? in Scottsdale?" I say to him as I bite my lip
"really? here?" he says, "I was going to say if you wanted to have him in San Diego" he laughs softly
"Soooo, an LA baby?" I laugh as he laughs as well and kisses my nose
"wherever, as long as we have our healthy baby boy"
I smile and nod, "sounds like a plan" I kiss him softly as we get up and dressed for breakfast with his family.

Cody and I decide to just stay in Arizona to be close to his family. Most of the team heads back to visit their families.

a c o u p l e o f m o n t h s l a t e r
Cody and I end up going to San Diego to visit my parents as I'm beginning to have contractions.
"im so nervous" he says as I laugh softly
"me too. but we're so close into having our baby with us already" I say to Cody as he smiles widely.
He sits next to me as he holds my hand and my parents sit on the seats close to the window of the delivery room.
"Should I call the team?" Cody says nervously as I kiss his hand
"You can, or we can surprise them. Is your family coming?" I ask him as he nods
"Yeah you're right, we'll surprise them. And yeah, they should be arriving pretty soon" he smiles as I stare at him in awe
time and time passes as I finally begin to dilate and his family arrives to the hospital as they all come into the room. We continue to talk as i begin having more and more contractions and I get to 10cm dilated
an hour passes as I finally give birth to our sweet baby boy. weighing 6.15lbs, the cutest baby ever. A day or two pass as we're finally able to take him home. We drive up to Los Angeles back to our home.
