Her green eyes locked with mine as I froze in my place. Mummy followed her gaze until she reached me.
Placing her cup on the counter she walked over to me and place me on her hip. "Hey baby you okay?"
Dropping my face into her neck I mumbled, "Who is that?"
"Nobody important." The woman spoke awkwardly as she approached us,sending my mum a worry glance."Please be safe."
"I have been for this long haven't I? We've been through so much, so much you don't know about Lauren."
Lowering her voice she glared at my mother, "That's not exactly my fault is it?"
Storming past us to the front door she shouted "I'll be in contact."
But I never saw her again, nobody did.
