-Flashback to two years ago-

"Isn't he just perfect?" Vic looked over at his best friend expectantly.

"I 'unno, he's got a reputation of being really mean to his partners, Vic. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you," Hayley sighed, not even looking in his direction.

Now one may ask, 'who the hell are they talking about?' Two words: Kellin Quinn. This kid had looks, a cute voice, a nice body, those big blue eyes that you could just drown yourself in, he was everything any girl, or boy, could've asked for. The thing was, though, that he had a dark side to him. Rumors swirled of his abusive behavior, but those who desired him greatly would overlook it, saying it was nothing but a rumor. Now, that being said, Vic was one of the few who didn't know what to think of these accusations, but he knew that it wouldn't make Kellin any less hotter. A jerk, maybe, but still hot.

"God, it's killing me knowing he's not mine," Vic whined, resting his head on Hayley's shoulder. "Hayls, how do you get a hot boy's attention?"

Hayley looked over at her desperate friend with a confused look on her face? "Why are you asking me?"

"Are you kidding me? Hayls, you have Gerard. Not only is he a total babe, but the way he looks at you- ugh- I could only dream of Kellin looking at me like that."

She rolled her eyes, now understanding what he meant. "So you're asking me for advice because I have a hot boyfriend?"

He nodded.

"I don't know, I just started talking to him and everything else just- well- happened."

"Don't gimme that, Williams. Boys like Gee don't just 'happen'."

"Well, I don't know what you want me to say. In all honesty, I don't wanna even think about you and Kellin dating, especially if these 'rumors' are true."

Vic looked at her with a sad expression before running off. Where he was going, he didn't know, but he wanted to be away from Hayley for right now.

"Vic!" She tried calling out to him, but it was no use. He was too far for her words to reach his ears.

-----

Kellin was on his way home when he heard sobbing. That was when he found Vic, curled up under a tree and crying his heart out.

"Vic, what's wrong?" Vic froze, immediately recognizing that voice.

He slowly looked up, his eyes meeting Kellin's. Everything changed after that day.

-----

-Timeskip to a few months later-

"Are you sure you wanna do this?"

"Are you kidding? Hayls, I've been waiting for this forever!" Vic exclaimed as he finished carrying the last box to Kellin's truck.

Hayley looked up at her best friend, eyes full of concern. She gently grabbed him by the arm, aligning her mouth to his ear and whispering. "Promise you'll call me if things go sour, alright?"

Vic nodded and pulled her in for one last hug before leaving with his boyfriend.

-----

-Later that night-

Vic had hidden himself in the bedroom, away from his drunken boyfriend. Why? Because a drunk Kellin is a scary and abusive Kellin. And speak of the devil.

"Victor, where are you?" Kellin slurred. Vic was beyond terrified. He'd already received a black eye and a broken rib because of Kell, and God knows he was far from finished.

Suddenly, Vic felt a hand grab his arm and jerk him onto the bed. Kellin was now on top of him, pinning him to the bed.

Vic realized what was about to happen and began to cry.

And that was also when he realized what kind of hell he had gotten himself into.
