To this day, it's 2025. It was a normal day, sunny, blue sky and birds chirping. Dan is an average kid that lives on Julianstraat in the Netherlands. He's welsh and loves football and is really interested in horror movies and books. Dan goes to a dutch school down the road, so of course, he has to learn to speak dutch. He hasn't been in Wales for about 6 years. He's listening to music called frogstep which is a type of music, in his room and then suddenly sparks an idea. Dan gallops downstairs.
"Hey dad, could we go to wales to watch Cardiff play tomorrow?" Dan asks. His dad places his beer can next to his chair with the other 10 cans.
"Yeah, maybe we could but first, I need to finish my next 17 cans of Bitburger," his dad explains grinning. Dan grins back knowing that he's only joking. He makes himself a sandwich with almost everything you can think of. Dan wasn't much of an eater but he helps himself when he needs to.
"Dan, do you really want to see Cardiff play tommorow?" his dad shouted from the living room.
"Course I do," Dan commented back.
"Then we better make a move on!" Dan's dad answered back.
Dan sprinted upstairs to pack his stuff for the trip ahead. He heard someone going up the stairs. Someone opened the door of Dan's room and his dad said "We will be staying in a hotel until the game starts.
1 hour passed by of packing clothes. Dan's dad came to meet him upstairs in his room.
"We are going on our way now to Wales and by the way, Emily is coming with us," he said quietly.
Dan sighed and galloped downstairs with his suitcase thumping as he went along. He walked outside and packed his suitcase in the boot of the car.
"Really dad, is Dan coming?" Emily cried.
"Yeah, is there a problem with that Emily?" Dan's dad repiled.
"Oi, shutup Emily!" Dan yelled from the other side of the car. After all the arguments had been told, everyone got in the car. No one said another word for the next 11 hours. The family took the euro tunnel which was a fast train underground, under the English Chanel. It only took 30 minutes since the tunnel was extremely fast. For the rest of the ride, the family drove all the way to Cardiff. Before Dan, his dad and Emily left, Dan's dad booked a hotel over-looking the whole city which included the stadium and extremely tall skyscrapers digging through the clouds. The family unpacked their stuff out of the car and headed into the hotel. They found their rooms and settled in for the night. By the time they did that, it was 4:00 which meant they had to sleep until 13:00 so they can be fully active for the game ahead.
Time passed and it was 12:00 and they all woke up and got ready. The family had the 5-star breakfeast which the hotel served in the morning.
"The fresh bread smelt like a dream," Dan exclaimed with an expressed face.
"Doesn't it," Emily replied.
Dan's dad didn't take any notice of Dan. He had a strange look on his face.
"Dad, what is wrong?" Emily said in the most cutest voice Dan has ever heard.
" Nothing, it's just that, I heard a scream early this morning when we were sleeping so I don't know what we are going to see today," Dan's dad explained.
"Ok then," Emily replied.
Dan's dad says that when you hear screaming in the night, it means bad luck. Dan and Emily never believed the thought because the two kids don't believe in a lot of things. A few seconds later, they heard a gunshot and they all jumped in fear.
