prologue

It had been nearly a century since Yongsun had last seen Byulyi. The two had been inseparable since they'd first come across one another, and had spent every breathing —and non-breathing — moment together.

That all came to a sudden halt when Byulyi had mysteriously disappeared — only to show up dead. Of course, Yongsun had been completely devastated at the unexpected death of her close friend. Everything about it was odd, especially since the two females were vampires.

Vampires were blessed, or cursed, with immortality. In addition to that, vampires were very hard to kill.

So how and why did Byulyi suddenly pass?

That question had taunted Yongsun for the past hundred years, and unbeknownst to her, she was finally going to get her answer.
