Sickness: debilitating, aggravating, weakening.
Mental or physical, both are awful. But which is worse?
Left alone to suffer or suffering from the smothering. Which should I choose?
I shouldn't have to, but I am made to.
Smothering is just as bad as suffering.
But why does no one see?
Sorry if this is a weird topic. I've been sick lately and my depression is acting up, so I had to make it known that mental illness can be just as debilitating as physical illness, even though there are some who don't believe that. Anyway, I hope you liked this poem, and I'd really appreciate it if you left a vote because it gives me a self confidence boost about my writing. Thanks for reading!
