RWBY: Corrupted Save File

Part #2. The First Step

Luckily, a group of possible students walked out of the ballroom and soon the Blonde Woman from yesterday walked over to us and told us we would go to where the initiation was taking place once everyone got up.

So after waiting for about fifteen minutes, all of the candidates and I followed the woman, on the way to the initiation site, Saffron decided to Observe the woman and what he saw shocked him.

Saffron's jaw almost dropped to the floor, but he composed himself and they soon made it a room full of lockers, Saffron hadn't stored anything so he just waited for the other candidates to collect their stuff, there was some sort of commotion as a red haired girl threw a spear at the Jaune Arc guy, but everything was fine since he didn't hurt himself. We soon made it to the side of a cliff where the Headmaster was waiting, the candidates were instructed to stand on some strange metal rectangular plates in the ground, they all had some sort of simple that had two axes crossed.

Saffron stepped on a plate and waited for the Headmaster to speak.

Headmaster: "For years you have trained to become warriors, and today your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." The Headmaster spoke.

Goodwitch: "Now I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion, each of you will be given teammates. Today." Goodwitch said, The Headmaster soon continued his explanation.

Headmaster: "These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon, so it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you work well." I heard a feminine voice make a kinda weird noise, I guess she was as uncomfortable as I am.

Headmaster: "That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years." The Headmaster stated.

Saffron deadpanned at what The Headmaster said, why would he say "It would be in your best interest to find someone you work well with." If you don't have any choice in the matter!

Saffron heard a loud "What?!" from the same voice who made the strange noise about five seconds ago, this voice was followed by a different voice who was telling someone "See? I told you!" The Headmaster then continued explaining.

Headmaster: "After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way, do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die." As soon as the Headmaster said this, Saffron was started to have a mini panic attack.

Headmaster: "You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene, you will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics, each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?" The Headmaster finished, there was only one question asked, but it didn't end very well.

Jaune Arc: "Yeah, um, sir-" Jaune was saying, but he got cut off by the Headmaster.

Headmaster: "Good! Now, take your positions." He told the initiates.

Saffron's position was just bending his knees slightly, he didn't really know what else to do, and he didn't know what was going to happen. Unfortunately, Jaune didn't take a position but tried asking more questions.

Jaune Arc: "Uh, sir? I've got, um, a question." In the background, a noise was heard, Saffron looked at where the noise originated, and saw that one of the girls standing on a plate was gone, and the plate had sort of flipped up, indicating that the girl was launched into the air. But Jaune didn't notice it.

Jaune Arc: "So, this landing strategy thing, uh, w-what is it? You're, like, dropping us off, or something?" He asked nervously.

Several noises were heard from the other platforms, but Jaune still hadn't noticed.

Headmaster: "No. You will be falling." The Headmaster stated, this did not help Saffron calm down at all, he was getting increasingly scared by the second.

Jaune Arc: "Oh, I see, so, like, did you hand out parachutes for us?" He asked the Headmaster another question, as more candidates were being launched.

Headmaster: "No. You will be using your own landing strategy." He answered once again.

Jaune Arc: "Uhuh,... Yeah." He said, obviously getting more worried.

Jaune Arc: "So, uh, what exactly is a landing strate-" Jaune had gotten launched before he could finish, so he just yelled the end of his sentence. A loud "GGGGYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY." Could be heard in the sky.

It was now Saffron's turn to be launched, and he was not ready for it, he contemplated getting off of the plate, but it was too late.

He had gotten launched into the air, and he had no idea how he would survive.
