Heartbreak. That's the only word that can come to mind this christmas. I knew it would get to him, the plague in his mind. How is someone so bright having such a dark mind. I wish i could take all this darkness away from him.

The door opened and joaquin walked in. The had about 200 flowers in a bag. I gave him a questioning look. "Did you steal those or something?"

He just nodded. "They are for you." He said sweetly. Then he turned on hurt but the johnny cash version. He held out a hand and gave me a grin.

I slowly took his hand and we slowed danced. To a broken johnny cash record with a bag of stolen flowers on the couch.
