BILL CIPHER'S POV:
Blue is marvelous at piano, by ear, and rapping but what she doesn't know is that in competitions like this, I'm known as undefeated. Of course things might change but my determination was rose enough not to care. Keep in mind, readers, that I've done these a billion times and this is Blue's first time doing a piano and/or rap competition. Either way, whoever wins, I'm so excited. We kept playing the piano in an upbeat D Minor while the audience was calming down their cheer. Since Blue insisted in her mind, I decided to bust out the first rhyme.
Me: Look who's back on the stage, Bill Cipher, who has a new tune you might not decipher. Made a deal with a friend not old, but this coder Blue is good as gold. Not as good as me, true story, it's her first time but she has her glory. Remember that time when you came across? We shook hands then I'm the boss!
With a delicate move of my finger, I ran it up and down the piano playing a D Minor scale, high then low. Then nailed the end of the scale with a boom of the chord that seemed to have shocked some people. Blue wasn't furious yet, not this time, she was smiling. Everyone liked when she smiled because it seemed these days that there was a certain key you have to unlock to see her smile. Either that or her despise of me was taking over her and now let go.
Me: Ok, Cipher, we know you well, but when a coder takes the stage, how swell. It's about time you get beat again, when you told me "We'll Meet Again". You can burn me all you want but I'm ice, when I get cold I won't be so nice. Thank goodness me and my Dad are rappers, how about you try, don't look so dapper.
The audience was curious and excited to see how this would play out. Our notes crescendo as the audience quiets down. After some more musical savageness on stage, we decided to transfer from a D Minor to E Minor. The heat was rising, internally and the spotlight was literally heating up. This time, Blue started us off.
Blue: You can sure cause an apocalypse, and been through history and politics. But you've never been as powerful as you say, so why not relax in the dorito way?
The majority of the audience cheering and oohing, thinking I got burned. Time to play, rough.
You're adoring, Blue Orb, but in times like this, I gotta embarrass you again, to keep my eye on the prize.
Me: You don't think you've hardly had failed fights? Even when you wore a mask, cape, and blue tights? Even for coder, you can't beat me, yet so young you're boy crazy! Don't make that look, I can see how you're feeling. It's still so cute when you blue"shing and squealing. Now Bill frickin' Cipher's gonna lay down the truth, you haven't found the right man for you.
Now Blue felt really shocked of my last line as the audience around us oohed. The poor thing stood silent, she didn't rap, she didn't play, for several seconds. Regardless, after the sound of silence was over, it broke with her playing G Minor this time. Joining her, I added marvelous notes on top of the beat while the people around us were pumped up again.
Blue: Speak for yourself, you lone nightmare king, of everything chaos, nacho, and glittering. Thinking that everything is yours to take, now I'm the one raising the stakes. Not my fault you're such a perfectionist, I know some things aren't perfect, don't mention it. You're going down you're a longterm culprit, and I'm not surprised that you play with puppets!
Ok, Blue, you got me good, but that don't mean I'm necessarily beat.
Besides, there's one piano trick up my sleeve Blue Orb has never done before: Playing piano backwards. Now this I can can do which brings back my edge. Her face at the sight of me playing the keys in reverse was really priceless. The chills up her spine were in sync with the majestic reverse keys that I played. Coincidence? I think not. Adorable? Affirmative, good buddy.
Blue, faintly blushing light blue, was observing me, more descriptively, my hands. Soaking up the best info she could on her so she could learn the art of reverse piano playing. Her neutral expression quickly turned positive as she played a couple notes. She played more and more until the notes were sounding more and more reverse. Still so stunning how she learns things so quickly, I have to admit. The audience themselves were impressed as well. Either way, whoever wins this, I'll be happy because I'll never be beat. After more savage rhymes, we both ended the song in a perfect synchronized harmony. On the last note, the audience roared with cheer and applause. Blue and I stood up from our seats and took a bow willingly.
