The marks flashed and a portal appeared in the form of an arch. The creation of this portal could only mean danger for Aelin, and as wonderful of a queen as she was, she was rash and would have jumped right in. "We have to go in," I whispered.
"What?!" Lorcan practically yelled. I turned to him and let him read the determination in my eyes. His stance softened, "Ok," he said quietly. I hugged him tightly wanting to remember the feeling of him.
I let go and look into black eyes. He smiled, "Let me get the weapons." I nodded and watched him run down the hall. I smile sadly, for the risk we're taking and for the unquestionable danger we're are walking into. I just hope we won't lose anything we loved again, not this time.

Aedion:
I woke to a light flashing behind my eyelids. I didn't open them though, it was probably just Lysandra shifting forms. She did that often at night, wanting to change out of the human form that caused her nightmares.
I turned to my side and snuggled into the warm fur of her ghost leopard skin. A reminder I was there if she should need me. I met the velvet soft touch of smooth creamy skin. My eyes flung open. Lysandra's very human back was facing me, soft purrs rolling out from her.
I snapped my body up, fulling awake now, shaking the bed. Lysandra mumbled something about the proper amount of sleep a person should get, but I ignored the comment. I was starring at the large portal on the wall in front of our bed.
I flung the sheets off the bed and jumped up quickly sliding on clothes and weapons. Lysandra growled and cracked open an eye. Her eyes widen and sleepiness vanished from her face, "What the Wyrd."
She slowly got out of bed, her eyes never leaving the portal. I quickly ran to the closet and grabbed a few more weapons, strapped them on to my waist.
"Aedion!" Lysandra shouted. I ran back into the room to see Lysandra clothed and her hair being blown towards the portal. She turned to me, "It's going to suck us in. What should we do?"
I smirked, "Only one thing to do." Her eyes gleamed mischievously. "On the count of three," I said, "One, two.." Lysandra ran into the portal. I frowned and shouted at the glowing archway, "I didn't say three!" With a huff, I charged in after her, the portal closing behind us.

Fenrys Pov:
The stone floor was cold against his body as he lay on top of it. To conserve warmth curled up to a ball, seeking the heat of my thick, white, fur, coat. He had a room, one Aelin had personally picked out stating, "I hope this is enough for your luxurious taste." And the room certainly was, it was beautiful, themed like the snow-topped mountains surrounding Terrasen. His wolf form had howled at the sight of it.
But sometimes it was too much, too big and lonely. But he didn't say anything, he put up a mask, as they all did sometimes, hiding the horrors that still sometimes plagued them.
He blew out a breath, ruffling his coat. But the masks had become scarcer. They were getting better, all of them. But he knew they would never be gone for good. They couldn't be, not after what they faced, the people the lost.
He curled up even tighter, trying to gain warmth. He didn't know why he'd come here tonight. Just sitting in the middle of one of the long hallways that ran throughout the castle. But something pulled at his wolf, and he had shifted and followed. It had led him here. But nothing had happened. Nothing unusual, just cold and silence eating at Fenrys.
He gave up, and let out a sigh, uncurling from his place on the floor. But something caught his eye, a flash of golden hair. Something he would not have seen if he wasn't here. So Fenrys took off running after the golden hair, his footsteps light. He caught a glimpse of it again and saw... Aelin. He slowed down. What was she doing? But something pulled at him again, begging him to follow, so he did. Slower now, more careful to be quiet. His feet were silent on the stone but Aelin being Aelin could probably still hear him, so he stayed far behind. He followed her down hallways and stairs with difficulty. Her speed making it hard to keep up while still keeping quiet.
Eventually, she stopped, in the dungeon of all places. It was a miracle of the gods she hadn't seen or heard him, but the gods were gone, which meant Aelin was in such a hurry she didn't check her surroundings. Something was wrong.
Crashing and roaring started coming from the stairs leading down the dungeon, Rowan's yelling. Fenrys melted into the shadows, careful not to be seen. He looked to Aelin who's hand was bleeding and writing on the wall. Gods above, she was creating Wyrd marks. Fenrys couldn't help the urge to reveal himself to his queen, and almost did so before Rowan came crashing through the door.
Fenrys stilled and just watched. Watched the fight between Aelin and Rowan and the conversation too quiet for him to hear. And then they walked into the Wyrdportal. Fenrys mentally swore. But he felt a tug again, so strong that he stumbled. It was pulling him closer to the portal, the quickly closing portal. So before he could think, he ran to it, jumping through it, just barely making it.

Manon Pov:
The beating of Abraxous wings boomed through the air, wind rushing in my ears. We were flying fast absorbed in the darkness of the night. I blew out a breath of air. We still couldn't sleep most nights and restored to flying to clear our minds.
I closed my eyes and leaned back onto Abraxos. My rest was cut short though, a bright light flashed. I snapped upward to see a large circle before us in the sky. Abraxos was keeping us in place, seemingly as confused as I was.
"What the hell?" Abraxos sniffed the air, and I felt him go tense beneath me. Before I could blink, we were flying through the portal.
