Hi!

Your eyes aren't deceiving you (some of you anyway). Ordinary World is back! It's been a long time since this story has seen the light of the internet and though this is very scary for me, I think I needed to do this. I've needed and wanted to overhaul this story for so long. I have lots of ideas and problems and questions and what better way to get it all out but here, where hopefully I will have some good constructive criticism and encouragement. The only way I finished this story before (a million years ago in like 2005 and on Fictionpress) was because of readers encouraging me and keeping me going. So I hope you guys can help me a little. Please comment when you can, let me know what you like or don't like. There are going to be a lot of changes, but it's still the same story at it's core.

It may also not be posted as fast as my others, since a hefty chunk of it is being rewritten, but I will keep to the task if you guys want more of it. Please just let me know!

And enjoy!

- Jen

If that doesn't work here it is written out and explained:

Wicked World by Laura Jansen: I think when you listen to it, you'll understand why it's on here.

Above and Below by The Bravery:  Elizabeth's life REALLY sucks at the beginning. This is her mood song for it.

Born To by Jesca Hoop:  Another good "Elizabeth's Mood in the Beginning" song

Send Me On My Way by Rusted Root:  Perfect song to start an adventure!

This Fire by Franz Ferdinand:  A good action/fight song

Nothing to No One by Gin Wigmore: "When you go, I will keep your heart / I'm nothin' to no one but you."

Oh No! by Mindy Gledhill:  Katerina and Stephen's song

Incredible Heart by Ingrid Michaelson:  A heart-broken Hegra song

Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament by The Beastie Boys:  A good atmospheric song

Night of the Dancing Flame by Roisin Murphy:  The gang hits Wonderland

Out the Back Door by Jesca Hoop:  Alice knows how to escape

Moon Baby by Godsmack: Oh yeah, I went there. Though there are no werewolves in this story, it's just a good tune to encompass Rafe's predicament

I Let Love In by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds: The dummy went and fell in love with her

Cosmic Love by Florence + The Machine:  A nice passionate song that could represent a few of the relationships in this one.

Only If by Enya: The gang climbs a mountain!

Chicago by Sufjan Stevens: the instrumental parts on this song are just gorgeous and I feel like it has a good fantasy/adventure vibe to it (if you ignore the lyrics, of course. Sorry, Windy City.)

Drunken Piper by Natalie MacMaster and Cookie Rankin:  Time to do a faerie jig!

Stay by Emmy Rossum:  Rafe's dream

Storms in Africa by Enya:  A running through the woods kind of song

Robin and Marian by Nickel Creek:  For when we meet the man himself

Are You the One? by The Presets:  Love triangle drama

I Have the Touch by Peter Gabriel:  Secrets revealed!

The Orchard by Thomas Newman:  A "run-for-your-life" kind of song

Go by Meg Myers:  A "run-for-your-mother-f*cking-life" song

Letters From the Sky by Civil Twilight: Only one will make the sacrifice...

This is the Day by The Cranberries: "Don't be insecure / I'll be at your door / I will always be there for you"

All About Your Heart by Mindy Gledhill: Why Elizabeth loves him

I Choose You by Sara Bareilles: A perfect wedding song

Ordinary World by Fernanda Takai:  A jaunty, fun little cover of the namesake of this story. :)

Oh and all the illustrations are done by me. :)
