The Fallen King

Prologue

I was running through the forests without any idea what is going on. The only things I know that a herd of wolves is running after me and if they catch me by any chance there is no way I can go back home alive. 'Home' the word itself sound so alien to me. From yesterday I have been staying in these forests without any idea how I came here at first place. The last thing I remember that I entered inside the portal to check whether it is working on not but I never expected to land up in this unknown place. But I had no idea how to return back to my home because as soon as I landed up here the portal got vanished.

I wish I find a way to go back home soon because if I keep on going like this I will probably die of hunger or else going to become food for these wild animals in time of their hunger , the way I am right now for these wolves. I tried to find a way to save myself and I saw a cave right in front of me. It seems that the sound of waterfall was coming from the end of this cave because the sound seems much nearer now. Soon I found my way out of the cave and saw huge stretch of sea extending in front of me. I realized my mistake what I thought as waterfall was actually the sound of waves crashing on the shore.

I was totally mesmerized by the beauty of the sea but what I didn't expect was to see a human taking bath in the water but his back was facing towards me. From this much distance also I can tell that the person's entire back was covered in black tattoos. I started shouting like a maniac and started running towards me. It seemed like he has heard my voice and as such he turned towards me.

What I didn't expect was to see a pair of bright blue eyes staring at me and it seemed that the world has stopped for a second.
