She was running, she didn't know where she was but she was going to make it. Her skirts were spiraling wildly around her sprinting legs. The transition from rock to sand causing her to stumble slightly while running. She couldn't stop, she wouldn't stop, not until she made it.

Her family had broken their promise, so much for the Yaoyorozu code, they said they were going to extend the date. She didn't want to get married this early! No offense to the Todoroki Kingdom nor to their youngest prince but she couldn't force herself to be with him for any reason! She had a life to live, things to see and feel, and she couldn't imagine any of the people she left awestruck at the castle in that life.

She collapsed onto the familiar beach, hot tears rolling down her cheeks. Below her the sand grains blurring into an eggshell in the moonlight. A sob tried to erupt from her throat but she forced it down. She had no time for tears.

"Momo~?" A soft, lullaby of a voice called out. The voice's familiarity bringing warmth to her chest.
She looked up to see the sea creature she had become acquainted with. The creatures name was Jirou. She was a siren, one of the sea's most dangerous creatures.
Momo crawled farther into the rushing tide, the freezing water soon being replaced with the warmth of the sirens embrace. She sobbed pitifully into her shoulder, sobbing out her troubles while the creature lovingly comforted her.

She whispered an offer to me that I couldn't refuse. My head perked up and I looked into her murky eyes to see complete seriousness. I smiled and nodded, allowing her to pull me off into the sea.

Once submerged I felt her lips on mine, pressing gently as my body changed. Holding her close I thought of the possibilities, and the life I'd now lead with her forever by my side.
