(A/N: Never thought I had to write one at the beginning of a chapter. Just wanted to point out an error I made. Apparently Connor and Hank go to Kamski's house the day after they go to Stratford Tower. I didn't realize that and I'm sorry. Let's just pretend that you all just arrive on the same day, cool? Aight, let's get started!)

You arrive at Kamski's house to see Hank waiting for you two by his car. He was on his phone, and he seemed to have this look that you couldn't really describe, but it was enough to worry you and Connor. "Is everything ok, lieutenant?" Asked Connor as you two got off your motorcycle. Hank turns to you and let's out a sigh of relief. "Took ya long enough, I'm freezing my ass off." He was standing out in the snow for around 20 minutes and the cold started to get to him. "Who were you on the phone with?" You asked. "Chris. He was on patrol last night. He was attacked by a bunch of deviants.." Your eyes widened. "What?" Hank slightly nods. "He said he was saved by Markus himself." "Is Chris ok?" Questioned Connor. "Yeah, he's in shock but he's alive." "Do you mean the android Markus from one of our deviant cases? How did he save Chris?" You asked. Hank shrugged. "Beats me."

You three walked up to the front door. Connor looked a little nervous which made you worry. "Are you alright, Connor?" He shook his head slightly. "I have a bad feeling. We shouldn't have come here." "Bad feeling, huh?" Asked Hank. "Should get your program checked. Might be a glitch." You rolled your eyes at Hank's comment before glancing back at Connor. "It'll be alright. I'll stay right next to you, okay?" He gave you a small smile before nodding. Hank approached the door and rung the bell. A female android with long blonde hair tied in a low ponytail answered the door. "Hi, uh.. I'm, er, Lieutenant Hank Anderson and this is my niece Lieutenant (Y/n) Anderson, Detroit Police Department." Informed Hank. "We're here to see Mr. Elijah Kamski." You added. "Please come in." Said the android as it let you three enter.

"I'll let Elijah know you're here. But please, make yourself comfortable." "Thank you..uh-" "Chole, Ms. Anderson." The android corrected you. "Right, thanks Chole." Chole nodded and left the room. You three sat down by some chairs that were beside the front door. "Nice girl." Commented Hank. "You're right, she's really pretty." Connor replied. As much as you agreed with him, you couldn't help but suddenly feel a tinge of jealousy toward Chole. "Nice place." You said, looking around the room. "So, you're about to meet your maker, Connor. How does it feel?" Asked Hank.  "Kamski is one of the great geniuses of the 21st century. It'll be interesting to meet him in person." Answered Connor. "Sometimes I wish I could meet my creator face to face. I'd have a couple of things I wanna tell him." Said Hank. You sighed, wishing you'd know more about your grand uncle. You knew it was a touchy subject for him so you never asked.

You then thought about your creators, your parents. Your mom. How loving she was. How she was devoted to keeping you safe from your father. Words could not describe how much you missed your mother. As for your father, you were glad he was back in prison, and in a more secure one at that. All you hope for is that you to never see him again and that he rots there for the rest of his days. "(Y/n), you look troubled. Are you alright?" Asked Connor, snapping you out of your thoughts. "Y-Yeah." You lied. "Just a little nervous as all." "There's no reason to be nervous, (Y/n)." You gave Connor a small smile. "You're right." 'It's you who I should be worried about.' You thought. 'How come he had a bad feeling about coming here?' You waited for a few more moments before Chole returns. "Elijah will see you now." You nodded, the three of you following Chole inside. There was a large pool, with Kamski and two other Chole models in it, and three chairs in front of a wall full of large windows. "Mister Kamski?" Hank asked. "Just a moment please." Kamski said, swimming a couple laps around the pool before stepping out and letting Chole place a robe around him.

"I'm Lieutenant Anderson." Hank started. "This is my niece (Y/n) Anderson, and this is Connor." "What can I do for you, Lieutenant?" Asked Kamski. "Sir, we're investigating deviants." You said. "We know you left CyberLife years ago but, we were hoping you'd be able to tell us something we don't know." Kamski was silent for a moment. "Deviants. Fascinating, aren't they? Perfect beings with infinite intelligence and now they have free will. Machines are so superior to us, confrontation was inevitable. Humanity's greatest achievement threatens to be it's downfall. Isn't it ironic?" "Deviancy seems to spread like some kind of virus. We thought you might know something about that." Replied Connor. "All ideas are viruses that spread like epidemics." Said Kamski. "Is the desire to be free a contagious disease?" "Listen, we didn't come here to talk philosophy." Hank cut him off. "The machines you created may be planning a revolution." "Either you tell us something that'll be helpful, or we'll be on our way." You added.
