The group walked up to the entrance of the temple. The mist flowed out the entrance like
water, worrying the five.
“Mao Mao, I know this temple like the back of my hand, I should probably lead.” Oam
said, still holding onto Snugglemagne.
“Okay, just be careful. Now that you can be affected by the mist, you need to hold the
torch.” Mao Mao walked up to Oam and placed the torch in his hand. “Now lead the way!” Oam
chuckled at Mao Mao’s entutheasim.
‘We’ve gotten better. I’m glad.’ Oam smiled to himself, then began to walk through the
temple with Snugglemagne by his side. As they passed by mirrors, Oam frowned to himself. Still
no reflection. Oam’s grip on Snugglemagne’s arm tightened.
“Oam? Are you okay?” Snugglemagne looked down at Oam.
“Oh! Sorry, I-”
“It’s okay.” Snugglemagne moved his arm and wrapped it around Oam. “I’m here for
you.” He said, smiling.
“O-oh.” Oam looked down at the ground and blushed. Mao Mao snickered, smiling to
himself. Badgerclops and Adorabat smirked. Oam glared at them, then looked behind them in
fear.
“What’s wrong Oam?” Mao Mao turned to see a shapeshifter emerging from a broken
mirror. It shifted through many forms, trying to decide on one. It finally decided on…
“Snugglemagne?” Oam said looking up st Snugglemagne. Mao Mao stepped back,
hoping the shapeshifter wouldn’t try to hurt them. It suddenly lunged at Oam, skidding to a halt
right in front of him.
“Hello… brother.”
